Various ways to handle it. One is what you described; another is to just have it continue as if there's no break: another is to make 2 short sentences. It's basically what seems to work best for that panel, really.

This. The deciding factors are text bubble size, the font you choose (all caps or not), and the clarity of the sentence. As long as no reader can mistake a single sentence as two, choose what you want.

Ah, okay. Well, looking through it, I still take issue with the translation in a few places, though this is without knowing Japanese at all.
On page 6, Haruka thinks, "One day time suddenly stopped. I knew how many minutes it would last, but I had no idea why or when it would stop." Why did Haruka know how long it would last?
On page 26, the "Got x" part still sounds awfully clunky. What exactly "got" that stuff... there's no subject to the sentence at all! I can infer that it means Moritani, as she's the once speaking there, but it still makes no sense.

But the title of this page is 「せめてひじは曲げて」 literally "Bend your elbow at least". Why??
Also I'm not sure how to translate バリバリ in the following sentence so that it sounds natural:

On a side note, it's not entirely accurate to translate 修羅場 to a simple "fight" since 修羅場 has a more chaotic and tense connotation. 修羅場 is also often used to refer to a love related quarrel.

Probably better to translate バリバリ食べる as one phrase instead of translating バリバリ only. The two possibilities are "gobble it down" or "gulp it down," but "gulp it down" is the better choice of the two since it's more commonly used.
I don't know the whole context, so it won't be accurate. But the end translation would be something like:
"It'd be embarrassing to gulp them down, too..."

I was going to try to at least get chapter 18 cleaned and typeset this weekend since the translation is ready.
And, really, these chapters are easy to clean except stuff like this, but it's a bit frustrating when you can clean off 6 normal pages in the same amount of time it takes to clean that one panel. Even so, what I find most time-consuming is the typesetting.

So I've got an interested party for typesetting the Shakaijin Yuyushiki translation and I wanted some second thoughts on this example page they sent (using the current proofread).

Only looked at a couple pages. Could have been better cleaned; the whites made more white and stuff better erased.
For example, on page 12, with the infirmary sign and other places, you can plainly see where you've erased the Japanese, because you erased it to pure white whereas the original wasn't pure white but had a greyish tinge. Also some specks, probably from the Japanese text, that you didn't erase fully in that sign and other text bubbles.
Something often done before typesetting is leveling, which is just adjusting the blacks to properly be black and the whites to properly be white. It would clear away some of that grey tinge, though not entirely. Should be able to find something about that in one of the guide links in the op.
