I don't know how it ends but one of the women is bisexual from the start (the premise is that she left her girlfriend for a guy and traveled all over after he died and now her and her baby live with her ex) so the bi tag is probably not there for a nasty surprise. I do recommend reading it, it's very adult (as in it's about adults and people trying to grow up) and it's been building up to the women re-establishing their relationship.

It's worth a read, yuri or not, but those who come to it expecting yuri should brace yourself for a shit tonne of angst and drama which doesnt have anything to do with yuri. At least the series also doesnt feature any gay angst.

Usually someone ends up picking things that have been stalled forever (Yuru Yuri is the most recent example). I understand why the scanlation scene has developed the way it did, but I think it's about time to rethink certain things. Going half a year without even so much as a comment that things are in the works, should automatically free any given franchise. If you can't bother to write a sentence in 6 months, you are very unlikely to release anything.

The biggest missing resource is dedicated cleaners/typesetters.
The biggest root cause of slow scanlation is cleaners/typesetters who slack or burn out. They also have a huge churn rate.
So yeah, if you want to complain then how about becoming a cleaner and/or typesetter?

I actually don't generally complain, except maybe about Dynasty's most recent discriminatory hosting policies.
I have given it some consideration in the past and even went through some tutorials myself, but I had a lot of anxiety about actually working with other people. If I don't fail all my exams this year and am free during the summer I think I will.

The anon who does Yuri Mekuru just slapped the text onto the page and it is still very enjoyable to read. My fondest memories of manga aren't the lack of english SFX or proper greyscale leveling but the fun of reading it. I don't mean I dislike nice raws but if it means we could see 1 chapter a month instead of 1 chapter a year then I'd take scratchy low-res over nothing any day.

Not really, I would love to edit out Mikarun X manga properly to see it finished but so far there's no translators who would be interested in it, neither on /u/ or YP when I created a thread there.
In act of desperation I wanted to get it commissioned for TL scripts but then hearing the price it would be too costly to do it alone and then also edit out later.
