I still can't really understand why Seju had to cheat on Sumin willingly with some random guy and wait with him in the apartment for Sumin to arrive.
She wanted to hurt Sumin by doing so, or show Sumin she is inferior now for this random guy.
Imagine Sumin world in that moment, she lost her parents, and her girlfriend instead of being supporting as long it needed to be, after some time decided to scream in her face she's bored with how the things are handled in their relationship, then when Sumin decided to visit her again to apologise or sort things out she discovers her lesbian girlfriend cheated with a guy willingly in their bed and just waited with a guy sleeping there for her to notice...
