O-okay h-here I go...
In the distant future a sub species of Humanity exists that consists entirely of females that reproduce by using weak physic powers to generate a fetus in their partner's womb.
One such woman, named Setter, was forced to raise her daughter alone after her wife abandoned her to go on an adventure. 20 years later her daughter brings a friend named Kyoiyo from college to their home and Setter starts to fall in love after Kyoiyo starts flirting with her.
The story would revolve around the woman trying to get over her abandonment issues and trying to fully accept the girl's love.
I'm no good at actually writing, so I just got this dumb fluffy romance story stuck in my head that will never actually exist.
Ise possesses the power of [Lip] - when she kisses someone, she exchanges her luck with theirs.
The story revolves around Ise tracking down girls in unfortunate circumstances and kissing away their bad luck, while enduring the consequences herself. As the show goes on it emerges that the girls are all linked by the high school girl bully that ruined their liveswho was Ise, obviously.Also maybe something about the mysterious woman she originally got the power from but meh.
ok, so this is going to sound really autistic, but hear me out...
So, I turned a old Sci-fi idea into a sort of Yuri story. Basically, the world is BTFO by nukes, and the surviving Humans are split into two parties, people who believe in expanding underground cities in the Earth (the Terrans) and the people who took there shit and left for space (the Colonists) basically, the Colonists built shit on the moon and mars and stuff. Anyway, the Colonies are a Communist dictatorship that forces its people into work and stuff, but allows any kind of belief/lifestyle, and the Terrans are this Democratic union, however they believe in a pure society without Homosexuals and the mentally ill and stuff.
So think of it like, the Colonies are these very rustic, old western-esque landscapes that are Communist, and the earth stuff are like Hitler if he were more lax, but has near perfect living conditions and democracy.
Here's where the Yuri comes in, it follows a joint story of these two generals (who are both Women for simple plot convenience) who become rivals on the battlefield (because the Colonists and Terrans are rivals and the Colonists do raids and stuff to get materials) and they somehow manage to both me trapped on the surface of the world together, anyway, they travel around the surface together and visit the neutral tribes and stuff who aren't apart of the Colonies or Terrans and slowly fall in love. Haven't really decided anything from there.

I've always wanted a yuri wrestling anime so here goes.
So Average School Girl has recently joined the track team to try to get in shape and impress Senpai. Unfortunately ASG is really slow and she struggles. Senpai comes up to her and says "Yo you suck but I like you so here's a tip: try wrestling instead. It'd fit you better." and ASG goes with it because Senpai is pretty.
ASG turns out to be an awesome wrestler and Senpai recruits her for an underground indie pro-wrestling federation. ASG goes with it and in her first match with this huge hulking woman with muscles and a face tattoo gets her shit kicked in, gets hit in the head with a chair and busted open bad. A bunch of people are impressed by how well she took it, especially senpai who is suddenly kinda hot for her now. So ASG is all "wow I gotta do more dangerous shit to get attention from people."
She proceeds to get in a bunch of feuds with Colorful Cast Of Rivals © and she and Senpai start getting closer and a true love blossoms. They also graduate and become pros at some point.
Then she has a rematch with Face Tattoo-Sama in a No Rope Electrified Barbed Wire match and it's fucking brutal. Senpai realizes "Wow this girl I love now is doing crazy shit and it's kinda my fault."
They have drama and break up. ASG becomes a sex maniac and fucks a bunch of her Colorful Cast of Rivals ©. Senpai is sad and stops wrestling.
ASG eventually gets hurt bad enough to end her career but it's OK cause at the end of her last match Senpai and her make up and they live happily ever after.
tl:dr Average high school girl becomes Joshi Mick Foleythis feels like it would easily turn into a shallow ecchi fest. I'm okay with this.

I'm thinking of a videogame.
The story is set on a dystopian future where a bunch of anime and manga creators made a series of bad decisions, that coupled with new censorship laws strongly pushed by the Japanese government, resulted in a huge yuri crash, making such projects a constant losing endeavor.
After humanity witnesses their main beacon of fictional lesbian love lost, a slow but unstopable wave of emptiness ends up hitting the entire world, spreading creative sterility to a point where not even authors outside Japan seem capable of formulating yuri ideas. In turn, this creates an innumerable amount of people that lose their rational capabilities, living zombie-like hollow lifes and violently assaulting any sort of object or person that can resemble those ideals, in vain hopes of reattaining what was lost. Editors, artists, writers, people that once held power in the world of yuri were hit the hardest, twisting into horrible shapes and being driven insane by the loss of a fundamental part of their existance.
The player is a genderless warrior that wakes up in a small bed of lilies —the only ones that didn't rot after the incident— and sees only a single way forward through the decayed metropoles of Japan and through the hollow, rotting beings that were once the forefront of a better world.It's made to be Dark Souls with yuri.

MC attends school in Japan by day and moonlights as a masked vigilante, meting out justice and solving crime with gadgetry and weapons.
MC finds herself drawn to the sociable yet refined new student, MC2, who lives by herself. Growing closer, MC brings MC2 into her world of nighttime vigilantism, as they raid the yakuza, stop petty thievery and investigate a rash of disappearances of girls their age.
When the investigation goes awry and they dug too deep, all seems lost for our outgunned heroines as masked soldiers move in to kill witnesses. But after receiving a fatal wound, MC2 is enveloped in light, and when the light dissipates, what's left is a young woman resembling MC2, but older, decked in a color red, white and blue outfit and an old-school hairstyle, who quickly dispatches the assailants with a variety of superhuman abilities, tearing through steel and carbon fiber like it was paper, shrugging off bullets and dodging attacks with lightning speed, and roasting them with energy blasts.
MC2 transforms back to her original self, and reveals she has no memory of her past or her superpowered form, besides what they now believe is a manufactured identity. The two then set off to uncover this new mystery.
MC and MC2's search brings them to the US where it's revealed MC2 was part of a WW2 military project to create wonder weapons to fight the Axis, and was one of a group of girls taken from a Japanese-American internment camp, endowed with the ability and smuggled overseas to live incognito in Imperial Japan and transforming to fight on behalf of the American war effort. MC2 and the other girls from the project were believed to have been lured into the atomic bombings. MC2 simply having been rendered immaterial until she reformed and resurfaced in the 21st century amnesiac leads the two to return to Japan to track down the other girls and find out why the US tried to kill them off.

The story is that, after a (failed) assassination attempt in a nearby kingdom, the king increases security in the castle, this includes his daughter getting a bodyguard, a female one.
After a bit of unknowingly requited feelings one of them lets it slip to the other and they both confess to one another, then some light drama/angst over "oh but it is forbidden love, we must keep it a secret", leading to a number of capers to keep it secret.
Eventually however they are found out and, instead of the king finding out from a third party, the princess decides to spill the beans personally, she launches into a long speech, about how she loved the bodyguard, how she takes all blame, that the bodyguard shouldn't be punished, etc.
The king just laughs.
He laughs a long hearty guffaw.
Then he explains that he was aware of her proclivities, or at least had a feeling she lent that way, and actually set up the bodyguard to both test his hypothesis and set up his daughter with a lover. He then explains that as long as she is relatively discreet he has absolutely no problems with it. He then goes on to mention marriage, for multiple reasons (some legal, some diplomatic) the princess and the bodyguard can't be wed (which the princess doesn't like) but he then points out that if/when she is wed it would be a purely diplomatic thing, she is free to do as she wishes in her bedchamber, then lets slip that is the case with him and the queen (there is at least one joke about "so that's why there are so many clumsy maids") and that he would do everything in his power to find the right suitor, even if it is not the most advantageous marriage.
The princess poutily agrees.
If there where to be a sequel/next season/whatever it would probably be them searching for a good suitor, which will probably be a dude in a similar predicament and they agree to be mutual beards.
It's a science fantasy western, and the episode titles and plots are based off Jim Croce songs.

Fantasy renaissance-ish setting. MC is a wealthy merchant's spoiled daughter, well-educated but sheltered and easily bored with her undemanding life. She is engaged to a young partner of her father's, and is going along with it out of obligation to her family more than any actual interest in the man; she actually finds him unbearably dull but hopes once she's out from under her father's roof she'll be able to use her husband's money and ships to travel instead of wasting her best years sitting in her room.
As she's put on a ship to be transported to her wedding, however, a pirate ship attacks, stealing her dowry and kidnapping her. MC is terrified she's going to be raped, but is surprised to discover the pirates that kidnapped her are women, including the captain. She tries to negotiate her freedom, but her haughty attitude pisses off the captain, who elects to hold her ransom, spend her dowry to throw a party for her crew, and makes MC her cabin-girl.
MC is initially mortified and furious that for all her breeding and education she's suddenly a lowly servant doing errands for the captain, learning to do banal chores, and while they won't rape her, the pirate girls do harass MC. Gradually, however, MC starts to realize the pirates who have kidnapped her aren't so bad as she's heard, and the pirates in turn become fond of MC. When her father is reluctant to pay her ransom and her fiance balks at the idea of putting himself in danger rescuing her, the pirates feel sorry for MC and make her a full member of the crew. I've been trying to work on a yuri wrestling story for a little while. Unfortunately I am a shitty writer.
In the distant future, an all-female space exploration crew loses contact with Earth and gets stranded on a distant world. Realizing they have ended up at the wrong destination with no fuel to fix it, they are forced to set up a colony on the strange unknown world. Keeping themselves alive long enough for Earth to get their communication proves to be extremely boring, and the girls develop a complex social game based around the crew's hierarchy to keep themselves occupied.
As the months pass, the different crew member's attachment to each other begins to evolve into romantic feelings, and the game turns into an aggressive game of keep-away revolving around the higher ranked members of the crew. Everyone sets their sights on winning the affections of the Captain, but she is a stern leader who only cares about the mission, and largely ignores the crew's silly lesbian game.
But the Captain does eventually fall for someone, and her feelings for the girl spark jealousy among the rest of the crew, leading to clashes. The Captain has to decide the mission is more important than her feelings, and has to keep her love at a distance to maintain harmony with the crew. As she works her hardest to keep the colony operational, she thinks only of making it home alive with her newfound love.
The tone is tons of drama with sprinklings of comedy and action. Also, there's lots of side-couples, and an every-changing relationship network to keep things interesting. And it's set in fucking SPACE.

Though she finds the work degrading at first, tomboy-chan rebuilds her self-esteem after seeing what the other girls go through. A Psychological/Horror/Erotica Thriller about a young foreign nun sent to an orphanage, by the Vatican itself, to cope with the rampant brutality, aristocratic abuse and disappearances of young girls, only to uncover a prostitution scheme in which the orphans are either sold to brothels or rented to violent driven orgies where the elite partake. As a scandal of such proportions would be too much to cope and unable to usurp the cruel headmistress through legals means, the young nun is torn between seeking aid from far darker forces or simply do nothing. Choosing the lesser evil, she investigates a rumoured patient known by the children, as "Corset Lady". The young nun is thrown into the isolation room with the corset lady, hoping to blame the maniac driven individual with her death.
As she clinges for her life, for the very first time the corset lady "speaks"
Her life and body in exchange for the power and will to cease the torture.
She accepts, only to discover that the sinister maniac is no more than a hollow form of conjoined rags, a supernatural entity which the nun can only recognize as a demoness.
Through 12 long hours, the young nun endures a possession, self defilement and impregnation by a creature devoid of form and body, only to give birth to a female creature that quickly matures into what she can only regard as a Queen.
I thought of lesbianism as a side plot, since I thought how a nun would react if girls conforted with such relations and her coping to hide her own experiences in the past while becoming bond to another female, once more.

A girl joins a convent seeking to serve the lord. However, it's been taken over by a fearsome succubus who has turned all the nuns away from God and made them crave the pleasures of the flesh. She realizes the Lord has sent her to this place to save the souls of these poor nuns who have been deceived by this fiend. Naturally the only way to do this is to show the corrupted nuns the power of pure love and win them back to God's side.
An angel and a succubus get into a big argument about which is the more successful, angels or demons. The succubus maintains she could corrupt any virtuous human she wanted, but the angel would never reform someone that truly understood vice, while the angel maintains the exact opposite. As their superiors are rivals, the two enter a magically-binding bet; they'll incarnate as humans, the angel trying to flip a sinful human and the succubus a virtuous one. The loser will be turned into the winner's subordinate and become an angel/demon.
The succubus turns into a goth/punk-type young woman and makes a beeline for the nearest church, figuring flipping a nun should be easy. The angel, wanting to try to one-up the succubus, incarnates as a cute girl-next-door type and tries to find someone to redeem in a BDSM club.
Things don't go as expected, as neither is nearly as competent as they try to look to the other; S gets hit by a car on the way to the church and breaks her leg. Rather than a nun, the nice young woman teaching choir there sees the accident and drives her to the hospital. S gives her blurred info because she's not used to feeling pain, and Teach assumes she's homeless and insists on letting S stay at her place while she recovers.
A, meanwhile, gets mistaken for a client when she goes looking for a pervert to redeem, and is rather shy and overwhelmed as the club's doms start discussing who should break her in. She's "rescued" when Lady V, an experienced and cynical dominatrix a little older than the rest of the MCs appear, calls dibs on her and drags her off...to give her a lecture about safe sex and the dangers of just jumping into a scene and hoping for the best. A, pouncing on this glimmer of goodness, decides V is going to be her project, which V misinterprets as A awkwardly asking her to be her dom. V finds A adorable in a hapless way, and agrees, since she thinks A is going to get in trouble without someone nice looking after her. (cnt'd, 1/3)

While A and S have their targets, things don't go as planned. S starts looking for pent-up sexuality or repressed dirty thoughts, and is flummoxed when Teach doesn't appear to have any. Everything about T confuses S; she has no libido, she's generous to everyone she meets, she's modest to the point of being down on herself, and so patient and kind she's a doormat without the local nuns looking out for her. This extends to S, who takes advantage of her hospitality and tries digging up any greed, lust, or wrath in her, but T keeps disrupting her by being nice or getting distracted to help someone else. S goes from confused to angry and finally yells at T that it's not OK to never think of herself first. While S is trying to beat the upsides of sinning into T's head since she's oblivious to subtlety, T thinks S is concerned about her. T’s touched, and she and S become inseparable. S's feelings slowly change; T's the first to treat S like a person and show an interest in HER rather than fucking her. As T confides in S that she's never known what it's like to be attracted to someone but wishes she could find true love, S feels guilt for the first time and unintentionally starts to bond with T emotionally. Turns out T is demisexual, and sexual feelings only awaken in her once she's become emotionally intimate with S, who no longer views her as a conquest to beat A. They become a couple, and eventually have sex when T asks. (cnt'd, 2/3)

A, meanwhile, is stuck as V's new sub. At first A frustrates V by being prudish and judgmental, but V is a fair bit smarter than A and talks her into trying things outside her normal comfort zone. Initially, A is the plot's butt of jokes as her naivety keeps getting her into one lewd fix after another and V teases her relentlessly, but over time, A starts to trust V rather than think she's a pervert that can be flipped, and shows interest in exploring her sexuality. V grows fond of A, and the two start an awkward, but sincere relationship, using BDSM "rules" to try and keep things professional even as their mutual attraction grows. A does win V around to doing "normal" things with her, but she finds herself wanting to go further with V, which leads to A admitting she likes having V as her mistress, and losing her virginity to her.

As for a description of this race, they are called Pygmy, as they are short compared to Humans. Usually they grow to about 5 to 6 feet by adulthood. The word has been embroiled in a world war between three major alliances for 4 years. These nations are the alliance of global revolutionaries (AoGR), The Free Nation Partnership (FNP), and The Domminions Under God (DUG).
Yuri is the youngest pilot of alliance of global revolutionaries. She got her special position because her father is known as the hero of the revolution and she was pushed into a military career from a very young age for propaganda reasons. There's one problem though. Yuri is gay and she's been slipping up lately around one of the officers. The AoGR does not take kindly to homosexuality.
The story starts when the officer Yuri had a crush on rats her out and the regime plans to make her disappear. The FNP catches wind of this and decide it's a great chance to pick up a skilled pilot and strike a blow to the moral of their enemy.
Thanks to one of the FNP's top spies, who happens to be a cute girl, the plan is a success and Yuri is whisked away from danger and agrees to temporarily help the FNP because anything else would be a death sentence. Now the rest of the show revolves around her flying cool fighter jets against her former colleges while also romancing some of the cute local FNP girls.The final bad guy was the girl that ratted her out.
I had some more ideas like how she's seen as a traitor to her dads cause, that the FNP arn't all sunshine and butterflies and only slightly tolerate homosexuality, and that they need her around to help design and teach how to fly jets based off AoGR jets so they force a cute unsuspecting girl to be her lover for a while. Also their sometimes allies/sometimes enemy the DUG really hate her for her sinfulness and creates a rivalry with on of their top aces.

Ok I got one, It stars A demon huntress that is practically just fem DMC 3 Dante, clothes and all. One misson she finds some damsel in distress about to be sacrificed to a demon cult, she saves her of course, and having no where else to go, as her parents want her out of the house, she stays with the huntress but gets embarrassed at her habits. After berating her for walking around the house naked, she sees some of the curazy things she can do, and listens to the problems she lists with her gear. Turns out the damsel knows a bit about engineering and makes some guns for the huntress, that wont break from her mass firing. After a while the damsel feels better about herself as she has something to do in life and dosn't feel useless, and the huntress starts doing better in buisness due to the help of damsel's equipment. One day they both get captured and have to fight their way out of the situation and fall curazy in love with each other.
The story its set in the 80's in an relatively small town were we have this 26 yo Homicide detective who is a profiler-wanna be. The main plot is about a rampant initially thought to be a homicidal manic (later proven to be a serial killer) targeting girls about 16. The yuri subplot kicks in amidst the mess with the killer when MC's high school crush returns to the city after 5 years away. They have a complicated story of teasing, unspoken feelings and a bit of denial (the MC) There is a mayor event that triggers (at this moment, that event is MC's partner dead while on duty) a "relationship upgrade" between the two girls. Then everything starts to fall apart when the evidence starts to point out to who is the serial killer.
The ending:MC discovers that her high school crush had and accident about two years prior the start of the story that wrecked her brain and destroyed her capacity for empathy making her a textbook psychopath with the goal to get together with the MC. The girls she kills are all of the same age they were when they met and had characteristics that made the killer remember the MC. The epilogue is set 10 years later after the killer is executed and the MC is writing her memoirs about the case. It doesn't reveal if the MC moved on or is stuck in the past.
I think that is really cliché.

Astronomer ends up working with NASA who has a sharing program with JAXA. Whereupon she meets the very solemn and attractive JAXA astronomer. At the same time they must deal with the increasing protests/crazies/concerns of interfering what is obviously a primitive earth MK2. Is it really such a good idea to try and make first contact with the other planet? So on and so forth.

Not really, it was something that came to me while watching a movie. Creating story premises is so easy that it should be a crime that boring ones are ever produced.
On a distant colony world, a unique communist society has evolved to a rigid social hierarchy and caste system where women are assigned a position in life. Men had died in a plague and women use various methods to propagate the population. Earth is regarded as a distant memory and potential threat to the colony world.
Lieutenant Sophia had been assigned from birth to the space naval service and is often assigned to undergo military missions to maintain a space minefield to protect the colony. All her life, she has followed orders and worked with her comrades to serve the colony. The military are assigned to the country side to be farmer/soldiers and live an extremely simple life. Away from the cities where a rigid caste system, unaccountable hedonistic upperclasses who are more equal than others and the oppression of it's underclass has created a potent environment of rebellion.
For Lieutenant Sophia, she finds herself in opposition to her superiors for the first time in her life when the city elites decide to try and get rid of an excess of undesirable underclass women by marrying them off to single military caste members.
No member the military has a choice in the matter. It's an order. Marry who you are assigned to. If you wish for a divorce, see your commissar to file a protest.
This causes complete chaos in the space fleet and military units. Even the most rigid indoctrination can't convince individual military caste members to put aside their personal feelings and just get married to their assigned woman.

So begins a scifi story of Sophia and Diana in futuristic society on the verge of rebellion and collapse. And the Military caste must bite back their protests and see alternative methods to accommodate the newcomers.

I really hope this has some seriously creative use of creating noddles powers.

She stands in a room with other two.
A weird bidding starts off and the girls are asked trivial matters such as age and to turn and pose depending on the situation before a bidding war starts. Long story short, they are not selling the clothes, their selling them instead.
Chick panics, gets drugged, gets sent overseas only to realize that her so called rapist to be is no other than her german friend and daughter of a rather influential russian oil tycoon.
The situation eventually turns less desperate and more devious upon realizing that the woman she met in college and had the top grades of her class was no more than a sadistic psycho that she bullied alot but later turned to become friends.
Unfortunatly, while the friendship is aknowledged, the woman has no intention of letting her go and the other, has no intention to become her bitch.
So, what do they do? She makes a bet with the captive girl. If she can resist her charms and not be seduced, she's free to go. The catch being, that the woman will not use any means other than legally courting her with either words or presents, until she makes the girl beg for the whip herself.
Long story short, doesn't work.
The good news, she resisted.
The bad news, Svetlana has actually fallen in love with her and isn't keen on letting her go.

Well, first, a nonhuman species whose gender is approximately human female but who don't have human male as a gender at all. Think the gems from Steven Universe (or to a lesser extent the uh, gems, from Houseki no Kuni but they are more masculine). Secondly, a future or setting with males bred out/died off a la Y: the Last Man or Houston, Houston, Do You Read?
Depending on how limited your setting is there are a lot of ways to do this. If your setting never goes beyond an all-girls school you never really need to have a male character. A lot yuri accomplishes this by limiting the setting? If your setting is the whole universe, you need to think bigger.

Certainly a victim of physical abuse, the lack of fear upon her eyes makes the woman curious the enough to question if she could lead her to another playmate and to fullfill a revenge, she herself ,endured during her childhood..
A sinister game beings within the small town. With a tensed week passing without anyone reporting the disappearance of the girl. She asks her daughter about it, only to receive notice that her mother called in saying she was "sick" and not missing.
A confrontation happens and, using the girl as bait, she lures the woman to her, from afar, the woman slaps and burns the girl's hand with a cigarette before shouting at her, further throwing her on the ground and pulling her by the hair while the girl remains almost like a doll, glacing from afar until flashback of her own twisted past causes the Mary(our killer) into pushing the other woman afar by kicking her to the ground, until the very snow turn red with droplets of blood.
The girl, deaf and mute continues to watch, before putting herself on top of the woman.
Even through all the abuse, she still doesn't want her mother to be hurt.
Stopping, The woman laughs before shoving her daughter off and fixing herself.

One-shot story:
A young newlywed arrives at the hotel she's supposed to stay at for her honeymoon, but somehow she gets split up from her new husband. Their recent marriage was one of economic convenience, and she is uncomfortable but dutiful.
She waits at the hotel for him and becomes increasingly uncomfortable with him and their marriage, second guessing everything.
Little does she know, the honeymoon suite she's staying in was the same suite a young bride drowned in her tub the night of her wedding. The ghost of the dead bride has been haunting this same suite for years and playing pranks on new couples.
The ghost is curious about the bride (seeing as she's alone) and makes herself known. The bride is a mess of emotions - a loveless marriage that makes her uncomfortable and now a ghost on top of it?! In her vulnerable state, she opens up and pours her heart out to the ghost.
The ghost shares her own past and reveals that she intentionally drowned herself in the tub on her wedding night because she couldn't bring herself to consummate a marriage to a man she didn't love. She was in love with another woman, but that woman did not return her affections and it was unacceptable in that day and age.
She says the bride looks just like her unrequited love from years ago and has been waiting to finally express her feelings after all this time so she can move on.And then sex. Because it's a one-shot. Everything was getting handsy leading up to the reveal anyways.

NEET chan doesn't like this though and does everything she can to stay at home. Once noodle princess finally gets NEETchan out of her house they start to walk towards the shops but suddenly a beautiful short haired woman appears around the corner and NEET girl get an NEET attack and passes out. Noodle girl who's hiding in NEET girls pocket pretends to be NEET girls voice and instructs the woman to help NEET girl get back to her house. NEET girl wakes up confused with a foggy memory of what happened earlier. Noodle girl realizes it'll take a lot of work to get NEETchan the wife she wants.

Thus begins our erstwhile heroine's entry as a low ranking member of a gang under the command of the bodyguard. It turns out pickpocket is a natural at other thieving skills like lock picking, sneaking about and so on. Pickpocket enters a world full of petty criminals, masterminds and patsies.
There she begins to realize that she might have a thing for women that she would never have indulged in if she had tried to keep 'straight and narrow' both sexually and lawfully. Especially finds bodyguard lady to be rather sexily scary.

Yuuko writes down "I want a friend who is unaffected by my luck - who will stay with me." Instead of hanging the paper at the local shrine, Yuuko throws it away.
In the morning, Yuuko's greeted by a girl. The stranger introduces herself as the goddess of love and friendship. She's apparently come to grant her wish personally and become Yuuko's friend. The alleged goddess hands Yuuko the tanzaku from the night before.
Even after the goddess proves her deity status, Yuuko is suspicious of her and asks the goddess why she's spending so much time and effort on such an unlucky girl. The goddess confesses that she's on a search for her missing friend - Fortuna - and the unluckiest girl in the mortal realm seemed a good starting place.
Thus, the story of Yuuko the unlucky girl and the goddess of love and friendship begins. Yuuko guides the goddess through the wonders of modern technology while the goddess leads Yuuko through her unnerving introduction to the supernatural.

The ghost admits that she's tried her best to freak the tenants out over the years but couldn't do the same to Yuuko because Yuuko reminded her of her sister. The ghost muses meeting a shinigami must have opened Yuuko's spiritual eyes.
Yuuko realizes that her new friends are more or less immune to her misfortune because of their strong connection to the supernatural. But just when Yuuko is beginning to get comfortable, the goddess disappears.
That night, Yuuko is attacked by a platoon of youkai. The ghost and the shinigami manage to dispatch them, but both are injured in the fight.
Yuuko blames herself for the misfortune that's befallen the shinigami and the ghost. The goddess reappears in the morning and quietly announces that her search has taken a turn for the worse.

The first half of the story is fluffy slice of life, used to establish the cast's personality and personal struggles. At this point though, the actual plot kicks in - with the goddess' search for Fortuna and Yuuko's struggle with her bad luck.

That breaks down when her secretly-mundane scheming that she's been dressing up as magical wish-granting ends up with NEET being asked on a date by a random guy she'd found, causing NEET to realize that her "djinn" never really had any idea what her wish for love actually meant, or any special ability to grant it beyond grabbing someone nearby and intimidating them into asking her out.

Initially she'd just try to throw someone at NEET, get her to say "yes", call it done and get back to annoying the servants at the Heavenly Soba Palace, but then she starts getting to know her and actually caring about her happiness after she's forced to drop the "I shall grant thy deepest desire, brief mortal!" act and work together as equals.Then we start getting to the "she's doing so much better now... soon, her wish will be granted and we'll never see each other again" angst, and the strange feeling in her chest every time NEET is getting along well with a girl she set her up with.

At one point, the strong girl tries to find a way to let the blind girl see without her destroying things. After much testing, they find a pair of enchanted sunglasses that hold back her power. The blind girl is able to see the strong (and beautiful) girl for the very first time.
After a night spent watching the stars together, the (not)blind girl realizes she is in love with the strong girl, and the next day, summons her own strength to tell her exactly how she feels. The strong girl is deeply moved by the other girl's feelings, and answers them with a kiss.
Also there's a tournament arc where the strong girl beats the shit out of everyone on account of having a terrifying power of her own (indestructible, shock-absorbing bones). Super powers are part of the setting by the way. Maybe I should flesh that out more by adding additional characters.

After some investigation, she finds out that the girl she called is not the same girl she fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

MC is a magical girl with light-based powers, already pretty well into her career by the time the series opens.
The typical "Magical Girl gets stuck in her favorite book/movie/video game" episode happens, and while little time passes outside, MC is stranded for months in a fantasy novel. Her magic still works, but she's mistaken for a crazy witch. She's protected by a lady knight a couple years older than her, who also thinks she's crazy, but swore a sacred oath to protect and cultivate the light in others, and so thinks it's her job to protect and rehabilitate the "witch" due to her powers of light.
When the "episode" is resolved, however, the knight accidentally gets sucked out of the book as well when MC finds her way back to her world, and this is a one-way trip; a woman from a fantasy novel is now marooned forever in what is more or less the real world.
The actual series is about MC, who feels responsible for lady knight's situation, trying to help her build a life in the real world, and the bumps of trying to adapt (Lady Knight is fairly bright and was considered quite intelligent in her setting, but in the real world she has the practical education of a fourth grader but is trying to pass herself off as a high school transfer student, etc). Since pretty much everything scares and confuses the knight, she clings to the one thing she is familiar with, which is protecting MC when she's doing magic stuff.
MC and Knight become partners and best friends in protecting the city, and Knight slowly starts to adapt, becoming rather naive and skittish compared to how worldly and badass she was in her own time, but also starting to gain nerdy hobbies like becoming a manga junkie and getting really into cosplay. Some of MC's friends are suspicious of the weird girl from out of town, but gradually warm to her.
Yuri starts to set in as Knight discovers MC's secret stash of yuri manga and discovers it's not against the law for girls to kiss girls in this dimension.

a dark humor comedy about a Succubus who falls in love with a peasant girl and desperately tries to hold back her affection in fear that she'll accidentally steal her soul. It would take place in a large medieval city, perhaps Paris, and would have a bunch of history jokes/references hidden all throughout that you wouldn't notice unless you knew a thing our two about history.
The peasant girl would be the smart yet rather naive and cynical daughter of a Innkeeper, and the Succubus would be staying at her and her mother's Inn (a rather run down pub in the city slums) and at first targets random men around the area, but later, as she slowly falls in love with the peasant girl, targets direct threats to the Inn itself (usually corrupt officials, rival business men/rival merchants, or abusive guardsmen) however, seeing as she's literally hellspawn, doesn't quite understand why at first, until later on when she and peasant girl start hanging out and she realizes she's madly in love with her. Would go on in a simple formula, Succubus and Peasant girl start hanging out, sweet/cutesy moments, starts to segway into lewd things, Succubus remembers she can't do lewd things without killing her, comedic antics ensue as she tries to get out of lewd time, add in the other stuff mentioned before to make each episode fresh. Not quite sure how it would end, I can't really see a Lesbian relationship with a borderline demon ending well in any era, much less the medieval ages.

They become friends and this other girl acts like our hero's knight.
Our hero is also part of a guild where one of the member is a friend. During a raid on another guild's hq, they decide to leave her behind to hold off enemies. When our hero rejects this role, her guild friend throw a molotov and sets everything on fire instead. She burns in the fire but her magical new friend appears and saves her.
This is where she earns the title of anti-hero because she goes crazy and swears to kill everyone. the only time she's not angry and in pain is when she's with the magical girl of the other species. They're in love now so her new friend isn't evil but always protects her and tries to help her mental state.
She wages war on the guilds but also turns to destroying society itself. This changes when she meets her old guild and is about to kill her old guild friend when her magical girlfriend steps in and asks her to let go of revenge.
Then our hero returns to being sane and chooses to be with her magical girlfriend instead.
Btw the fire, the magical girlfriend, and the swearing vengeance is all from a dream.
Half-action series, half-slice-of-life domestic bliss about a globetrotting assassin and her girlfriend(later wife) who at least is extremely tolerant of her significant other's violent and legally questionable career.
Anime with a significant amount of gunplay that isn't just straight up bullet/missile saturation tends more towards heroic bloodshed, John Woo kinds of shootouts with characters sprinting and leaping all over the place while blasting away. I'd really love something more in the deliberative and methodical assassin mold, researching the target and the area, doing dry runs and preparing for the assassination/assault, all while the story delves into how things got so bad they needed to get an assassin involved.
Interspersed between jobs and the overarching story arc is more mundane segments like shopping, vacations or just lazing around in the bedroom naked.
Series tend to kind of juggle this steadily. An episode does something serious. Next week they're at the fucking beach or something. I think it'd be really neat to just hard-juxtapose more serious violent elements with the more fluffy stuff, like in the same episode. Violent tone shifts like that.
Imagine our main character is on her laptop at home, researching the floor layout and local area to figure out the best way to snipe a target, cooking up fake documents, putting in orders with local gunsmiths to have the right equipment for the job on-site, to provide a decent cover story and alibi when traveling and while in the area, while her wife's trying a new recipe in the kitchen or playing video games or something.

In the castle, the local tomboy princess is practicing her spear and is thoroughly frustrated by her expected betrothal to Prince Charming who she does respect and like. Unfortunately prince charming is 'faaaabulous'. Becoming the beard to otherwise all right and wise gay prince was definitely not what she had been planning on.
When Witch screws up in breaking into the Castle, the tomboy princess whimsically demands that she be taken on Witch's adventure for create the potion.

Witch and Princess must now journey back to their homes. On the journey the witch does gather the other ingredients except aforementioned 'lock of hair given with love to another'.
During the journey the Princess has fallen for the Witch who is completely oblivious. Will the witch ever get a clue? Will the princess ever seduce Witch?

The world is divided into two interlocking and overlapping realms, the Agnoia and Eidei.
Agnoia is the realm where enchantment is hidden. Most of its inhabitants are unaware of the art of sorcery and would not be able to cast the most basic of spells.
Eidei is the realm of enchantment and contemplation. It's inhabitants are magicians and sorcerers. Some of its inhabitants aren't really human(i.e elves and humans with cat ears. Some even live in the sea).
MC's family plays a prominent role in the realm of Eidei given how it is closely tied to the Orthodox Church. MC's grandfather is the Patriarch of Japan. One day, MC's family was attacked by Anti Magic specialists sent by the Catholic Church. MC is injured in the attack with his Energies altered.
Due to the alteration of his Energies, he can literally turn female at will. The catch is that his male mode is weaker and can only cast light spells. To unleash the fullness of his spells, he must transform into female form.
MC's family sent him to the Westminster Academy in the UK, a school for mages of the Eidei jointly operated by Anglo Catholics and Russian Orthodox. There, MC flunks tests and becomes the laughing stock amongst students due to how weak his spells are.
He is mocked and perceived as no better than the Agnoia.
A girl in particular takes pleasure in bullying him with spells such as making him vomit blood during class, turning him into a cat and making him shit out frogs.
MC plans his revenge on her by transforming into a girl against the warnings of the theologians and teachers. In his female form, MC covertly steals the girl's clothes, books and pantsu in revenge.
He even turns her pillow into a snake and hides it in her closet.
All's well until MC's constant switching to female mode had caused an instability in his Energies. He would randomly switch between girl and boy at random intervals before inevitably permanently staying as a girl.

All this time, the nun is actually an agent of the Gnostic Cabal who is fucking MC to suck up her Energies. As MC gets weaker, she eventually reverts to masculine form. However given the time spent being female, MC looks more feminine than usual.

Given MC's alteration, the mages guarding and researching him now suspects something's up. MC kept quiet out of fear of punishment should his participation in sexual acts be revealed. MC's sexual deviancy was exposed when the nun goes on a rampage in an attempt to kill the Archbishop of Canterbury and steal the Lance of St George, a powerful relic mediating extraordinary amounts of power. While the Lance of St George remains safe from Gnostic hands, the Archbishop of Canterbury was killed in the attack since the nun's body could not handle exerting the power it now yields.
With the death of the Archbishop, MC was locked in the Tower of London as punishment. The killing of the Archbishop was done so that an Evangelical Anglican archbishop can be installed. Here, a puppet faction of the Gnostic cabal is introduced, the Puritan Anti Magic faction that opposes Catholicism and the Eidei whom they see as Pagans.
This creates a situation where the Anglo Catholic bishops were killed off by kill teams sent by the Puritan faction. On their kill list as well is MC given his status as being the 'nuclear bomb of the Eidei'.
As a result, the Tower of London was attacked by them which gave MC a window of escape as the Beefeaters and gunmen of the Puritan faction duke it out.
MC flees back to the Westminster Academy only to find it being sieged by the British army. It turns out, the Puritan faction had through the help of the Gnostic Cabal manages to hijack Parliament and sanction the deployment of the military against the mages of the Westminster Academy.
The military eventually retreats after sustaining heavy losses but the act itself create tensions between the Orthodox theologians and mages at the academy. The Ecumenical Patriarch calls them and all Orthodox students back after the incident.
Before MC leaves, the girl gave him a kiss and asks him not to forget her.
The first season ends here

A number of children grow up in an Edwardian asylum. They are far removed from the outside world, and have barely any knowledge of it.
The living conditions are dismal, and two morose girls, Moira and Julia, find comfort in one another. Their relationship slowly festers into something else as they unhealthily begin to rely and depend on one another for happiness.
The story follows them both as they learn from one another, growing into teenagers. It also focuses on the individual desires and dreams of all the children for when they leave the facility.
Eventually Moira is discharged and sent across the Provence to new adoptive parents, forced to leave the girl she loved behind. Not accepting her loss, she tries to forget every detail of their relationship over the course of many years.

Customer: A former alcoholic trying to rebuild her life. Finds the bartender very cute and all so very easy to flirt with. She figures she should try to rebuild her life first before seducing the younger woman. Finds it very difficult not simply take bartender into her bed.

Both are sparring one day, both have been fighting each other in Mages own private arena and MC manages to pin Mage down for once in a fight with her sword next to her neck. MC brags about winning for once sitting ontop of the Mage too close to her face.
While MC laughs the Mage interrupts her, kisses her, sits her in her lap, having caught her off guard. The Mage grabs MCs hands and starts kissing her hard. Mage realizes

I critizized the other one but In this case I think it actually works, the yuri is an integral part of the story and not just something tacked on as an afterthought. Depending on how it's treated it could be either something great or crap. If the yuri is just a vehicle for fan service to the benefit of the MC then it would be shit, but maybe the MC starts as a jerk abusing his power then when he gets caught in this situation he has to deal with it and eventually learns to accept it and be happy for them and maybe at the endhe even discovers he couldn't undo it because their attraction would have happened anyway.

How about this?
Shifting POV between a single father and his daughter who has recently come out. The story follows the drama between them interspersed with tender moments between the daughter and her girlfriend. Nothing serious, mainly the father blaming himself like convincing himself the fact he raised her alone is the reason and generally being a dick.
Maybe the father meets the divorced mother of the daughter's girlfriend (though he doesn't know who she is) and a romantic plot begins between them. You know, because het is taking over yuri, right? The story ends with the father realizing that he loves his daughter no matter what, gets remarried with the mother of the girlfriend, and his daughter no longer has to sneak out to see her gf - they get their own room with a shared bed.
Happy end for all.

I fully support this. There's too much paranoia about guys anywhere near yuri. Hell, when bored and thinking of stories I could make, I most often try to think of realistic ways guys could be main characters while posing absolutely no threat at the some time through simple disinterest, outright asexuality or even just the token lovable ass of the group being a yurifag.
Just look at something as simple but appealing as Yuri's Lily Garden. Guy casually helps lesbians sort things out while cleaning glasses and occasionally going the extra mile for them. You know he's not gonna try to get in any girl's pants. He's a tired man you know has seen some shit on the run trying to do some good for every poor child that can't pour their heart to the onee-sama of their dreams.
I'm resolute that the only true threat males are to yuri is as a soulless accessory to forced drama or shitty love triangles.

It has nothing to do with males being a threat to yuri or not. The reason why people don't want males as MCs in yuri is because there's simply no point in doing that. The main yuri-watching audience won't care about him and his problems, and he would just take valuable screentime away from the lesbians.
Case in point is Mikagura Gakuen from earlier this year. They wasted so much time on the five guys and whatever their individual problems were when they could be developing the girls instead. And they're not even the MC there, just part of the main cast.

Just think. What about any actual story, where simply yuri exists? You'd not like that, as anything not focusing on yuri is bad.
Heck you wouldn't even like a yuri romance focused work that doesn't take place in our current time and has to do some world-building. Side-characters? All bad if they aren't lesbians.
The yuri genre is too one-dimensional right now, and that has to change. It kinda frustrates me that the best "yuri" works are actually only subtext right now, as there aren't even enough (or one might argue ANY) contenders who even try to mix yuri with something else. (Akuma no Riddle was supposed to try, but forgot to go past subtext..)
Well, I feel like LN and VNs may be a better bet than manga, but those never really get translated, so can't say much about them. You can only do so much with a one-shot after all. (or a 2 vol series) Interestingly, the more interesting series out there are not even that strong on the yuri, while those series, which really try to offer yuri every single chapter, almost all fail. (you gotta really love your girl x girl to like some of those works, as those like to go past any common sense to throw in some random yuri)
tl;dr: Yuri gotta have some more variance. Focusing solely on yuri won't give you new fans. And it will hinder good story-telling as well, as you wouldn't be able to do world-building or side-characters who aren't in lesbian relationships.

What are you talking about? I didn't say anything about having anything not focusing on yuri is bad or that every character has to be a lesbian. I said that having males as the MC (as in the main, POV character) in a yuri story is a stupid idea because it's unnecessary and would distance the anime/manga too much from the yuri. Why can't you just make the MC female like most of the yuri+other genre shows that you like so much?
