Hard to say now, as it depends how the movie will adapt the story. From the PVs, it seems they are not hiding the yuri at least.
Thing is, the story is a deep explorative kind on humanity, philosophical introspection and science fiction thrown into the mix..etc.. The yuri comes in, as the main character, Tuan, she was/is involved with that other chick in the PV, Miach, who will also play an important part of the main plot.
So roughly, you can imagine what kind of yuri you will be getting, and the direction it will go.

So, I was reading Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku that was announced to has anime adaptation and it's quite yurish. There is a legit yuri couple (pic related) and some subtext between other girls.They all dead by the end, except for MCs.
There are other LNs in the series, that as japs say have more yuri, but which one will be animated is not clear might as well go full original.

Everything tries to make its own niche by changing around what school club they're all in or other extremely narrow tuning of the archetype, to the extent that even a show that's just about teenage girls in modern Japan climbing mountains outside of school rather than teenage girls in modern Japan going to their Mountaineering Club comes off as novel and unique. There are much bigger ways they could distinguish themselves, but nobody seems to be taking them.
Actually, scratch that, just more setting variation in shows of all genres. It's not only SoL, everything seems to be stuck in a high school rut these days. Why can't we have, say, magical girls in a historical or fantasy setting, or pull a Shirobako and replace "cute girls balancing schoolwork and saving the world" with "very slightly older cute girls balancing careers and saving the world", or a not-TtS magical magical space opera / western / adventure? I'd like to see genre settings in general far less set in stone than they seem to be at the moment.
And more female protagonists and adventure series in general. It's been far too long since the last girls-with-guns show.

Shows of the genre you want are available (but could use more female protagonists) somewhat, just that they are all hetero, even with a female lead.
A rarity is of the same genre but yuri orientated. Female lead, but with a focus on her relationship/camarade with other girls, and they don't get involved with guys (but can be just friends with dudes).

Busou Shinki has some pretty awesome robot fighting PSP games so you can imagine people's displeasure when this turned out to be a cute girl show. Not that it's a bad thing. I personally dropped it because they killed an octopus and I felt bad for it.

Adventure is a pretty dead at the moment. Most authors seem to feel the need to have a steady status quo to return to between arcs, and either way it just doesn't work with single-cour shows. Production groups have gotten too conservative to fund multiple cours any more, especially not originals. Utawarerumono is a pleasant exception this season, even if it is straight as fuck and weaker than the original so far.

Human beings will always want to get fucked up and prohibition has been proven time and again not to work. Long before drug use was treated 'as a quirk and "harmless fun"'which it certainly isn't in my countrypeople were still using mind altering chemicals and being ostracized for it. Japan just happens to be lucky in being an island nation and therefore having more easily policed borders, unlike continental Europe and the States. America in particular is a huge part of why the drug trade is so violent and damaging to everyone involved.
