Elliot is suffering from a God delusion and drawing comparisons of himself with Che and Jesus. Two pretty revolutionary characters in history. Darrell is one of Elliott's hitmen and Angela is shoe-in for the next crisis actor who is readying herself for Mr. Robot's next role, unwittingly or not.

These two episodes pretty much scream into your face that Elliot is in prison. The unchanging daily routine, the meeting with Gideon where they're separated by a table, all the black people Elliot is suddenl friends with, the fat, nice gentleman in a blue shirt with a dog who keeps the people in the basketball court calm, the fact that for some reason white guys are playing basketball with the black guys like they're best chums, no women around, and Season 1 ending with somebody at Elliot's door.
I was under the impression that Elliot is at the jail awaiting trial for the murder of Tyrell (with Mr. Robot constantly taunting him about being able to kill people and not wanting to tell him where Tyrell is), but when Best Wife's new lover was watching TV there was the part where they mentioned the police don't know anything about what happened to him, so that part of the theory went into the trash instantly.

but that's not really. Home automation usually doesn't use internet, furthermore it's mostly hardware and less software (think of a router), so the amount of "tricks" that can be done using a remote control are few.
I mean yeah, we can see the house like some crazy rich new tech, but that would mean finding a new exploit, and so on and so on. I doubt that any automation software runs on linux/windows os (again, think of a router), and even testing shit without having anything to work on is impossible.
