BoB was amazing in terms of camera work, tactics and FX. The problem was the script writing.
What I would have changed:
1. Rickon should have died by a full arrow shower, not a single arrow. A single arrow is easy to dodge, a full wave of arrows is almost impossible.
2. Jon shouldn't have acted like a brooding retard. It would have been nice to get a good speech from him rousing the troops, and for him to not fall so easily to Ramsay's tricks. I understand that his little brother's life was on the line but he looked like a bumbling retard rather than a realistic military commander.
3. Salsa should have told Jon about the Vale army but everything should have played out the same nevertheless. Jon would end up looking like a pragmatic military commander willing to sacrifice lives to create a proper encirclement of enemy troops rather than a bumbling idiot that has to be saved by her little sister at the last minute.

I think normies remembered Tysha just fine because it was just such a horrible and sad story. They could've just quickly shown that scene in a previously on game of thrones opener.
