The only bootstrap paradox in that episode is Clara having the message burnt onto her hand.
The Doctor actually rewriting the timeline by getting his past self to press the button is the hitler paradox, resulting in the future versions of him and Clara ceasing to exist.
(It shouldn't surprise you that the meaningless rules in this show are applied inconsistently, but an episode set entirely in the TARDIS can get away with it.)
