Do you think GRRM will ever allow another writer to write a story within the world of Ice and Fire? I've always wanted to read a story set in Old Valyria or Yi Ti or Asshai, or any of those other far off places we have never seen. Obviously the Fat Man is never going to get around to it, he's not even going to finish the main series, but there's so much untapped potential in those places.
I mean, obviously there's gotta be crazy shit going down everywhere, it seems unlikely that Westeros would be the only place effected by whatever magical shift is occurring on Planetos. Like, does Yi Ti have it's own version of the Others? Do they have wingless gook dragons and shit? GRRM should really let other writers tell these stories, especially if he's going to take another 30 years to finish the main series.
