Cersei views Sansa as having something to do with Joffrey being poisoned and would probably then blame herself for allowing her to be spared because she was worried her death or absence would have a negative affect on Joffrey. She probably sees Margaery Tyrell as another Sansa who is going to betray her son and would think that killing her is the way to save Tommen the way she didn't save Joffrey. Her mistake was not being able to see Joffrey's psychopathy the same way her father didn't see her incestual relationship with Jamie because she was too busy worrying about his role in life like Tywin was with hers, so she couldn't see that taking away Sansa wouldn't have mattered to Joffrey, but Tommen is a completely different person and is probably good-natured, so he's the son who would have been emotionally crippled by such a thing, and she couldn't react to either's dilemma appropriately because she's too caught up in thinking she already knows what's best and eliminating her enemies to understand either of them.
