I liked it but it's the kind of season that makes or breaks the NEXT season. Too many huge changes that could fuck everything up or lay down the foundation for a great season.
GoT S7 needs to be slower paced and focus on a couple of main storylines, but the 7 episodes thing worries be. They should be longer, like 70-80 minutes, and they NEED to stop leaving things half assed so often. Even little details, like Wun Wun going unarmed, can make or break the immersion and would be easily fixable. "Jon: shouldn't we arm the giant? He's our trump card. Tormund: we tried to, but that old fuck really likes to feel people crushing into his hands" - what's that, a 15 seconds dialogue? It adds to Wun Wun, makes him more badass which in turn makes his death better. Would have been so stupidly easy.
