Can someone explain to me whyCersei essentially had Lancel killed? Was he just dead to her?
name one thing she did wrong
so what's next for Brienne?
>>71378195
well obviously
>>71378112
repoast
Can you please give this question more than 2 fucking seconds of thought? Please?
Brans powers have literally no impediment on his ability to be a ruler, in fact if anything being omniscient would make you a pretty fucking good ruler

>>71378213
Come to earf
Fucking ayys stay in space
>>71378213
Never had a foot party with Meer and Sara
>>71378253
kills Euron single handed
>>71378195
I think its more of Lancel found the kid who lit the candles and the kid himself decided to kill him because of Qyburn told him to kill anyone who found out. Only D&D would think and write that Lancel just so happens to follow a kid all the way there and that Cersei planned all of that.
He was dead to her the moment he joined the cult and then sold her out
>>71378195
Yes..?
What would possibly lead to believe otherwise?
A CUTE
I need her in my life, who #bearfu here?
>>71378213
Didn't get a boob job.

Joins back up and follows Sansa around.

-That Aisling Franciosi is an absolute angel
-that all women look like shit when they give birth (especially when they're dying)
-that anyone who disagrees has shit taste and is a probably kissless virgin
>>71378195
Why wouldnt cersei want lancel dead? why would she care about him at all?
>>71378166
>>71378253
Brotherhood without Banners team up with Beric, Thoros, Sandor, Brienne, Pod the Rod, Melly, and Arya
>>71378166
So when is Sansa gonna use that pussy on Jon?
If she wants to be Queen, or get treated like it, it's only one dick ride and some words in front a tree away
>Promise me Ned
SO HOW DID VARYS GET ON THE BOAT SO FAST LOL
>>71378324
>See guys
>When I post this picture of her in the absolute best circumstances, from the best angle, and with the best lighting, she looks great
I agree with you that she doesn't look ugly but fuck off.
>>71378166
Why do people call her Mad Queen now all of the sudden? She didn't act any different of what she did before, she even had the Mountain hold Tommen so he woudn't die from the explosion
Everyone abandoned her and if she left the Septon alive she would've gone through a worse thing than being exposed naked on the city
Either she was crazy to begin with or she isn't crazy at all
This show has made me unironically hate women.
>>71378273
>Brans powers have literally no impediment on his ability to be a ruler,
Except the part where he needs to spend hours a day wizarding it up.
>>71378367
Teleportation is a well established means of transportation in the show
Pay attention.

Magic or farts.

>>71378367
He used the Red Keep's secret passages obviously
>>71378292
>>71378301
But Lancel was king if he stayed alive.
>>71378310
Why should I take the show seriously after shit like this,
At least in this scene she was being helped by 2 grown men.
Really?
>>71378411
But I mean they could've shown it in a scene....
>>71378409
No he fucking doesnt? What in the fuck are you talking about?
do you people just make up shit as you go along? Bran doesnt "need" to spend any time doing anything unless its necessary to learn something.... why would that make for a bad leader

people keep doing this and its really pathetic tbqh
>>71378378
point taken and also disputed, she's fucking gorgeous dude
>>71378460
why should one take anything seriously in a fantasy show involving dragons and ice zombies?
>>71378195

>>71378497
pure cancer
>>71378466
>>71378502
Do you know how important the Three-Eyed Raven is? Probably pretty important considering the previous one needed to reach out to Bran and spent so much time doing it, a tree grew around and through him.
>>71378166
This scene didn't make any sense. How did Cersei plan the whole bombing when she was imprisoned by the high septon?
>>71378402

>Putting Cersei in the same level as Dany
What has Dany done except stand there and rant about conquering the world? Everything that is interesting about her story arc is the characters around her and the shit they do
Just a really bad character, a lot of people also shit on her acting but you can't do much if they have you do the same thing every episode
The show's gone to shit and nothing makes sense at all.
Fuck D&D and fuck all you showfags too.
>>71378553
>Paint her green and she could marry shrek
>>71378585
She has been free to live in the Red Keep for awhile now.
Also it just so happened that the Mad King kept all that shit under the Sept
>>71378583
Obviously? The three eyed raven is the most powerful person alive, of course I know how important they are lmao. What does that have to do with anything? Bloodraven was waiting for Bran to find him so he could teach him. Did you miss the part where Bloodraven specifically told Bran he wouldn't be "an old man in a tree" or are we conveniently ignoring that happened now?
>>71378585
she wasn't imprisoned, she was hanging around the Red Keep and had a network of spies through Qyburn.
The wildfire was already there, she just needed a few people to set it up. It wouldn't have been hard to do.
>>71378605
Michelle Fairley already confirmed that she wont be doing any more roles in GoT. Lady Stoneheart was written out
>>71378443
How come she has super assassin and face changing powers still? I thought you had to be part of the cult to do that stuff. If you can just get the powers and then leave why don't more people do it?
>>71378613

>>71378466
>do you people just make up shit as you go along?
They legitimately do.
>Bran can't do king bcuz is benis no work
Where did you get this information? Are you friends with GRRM or something? And what the hell does the state of Bran's genitals have to do with the line of succession. Should he fail to produce an heir, than the crown would eventually pass to one of his siblings/one of their children.
>BUT JON
Jon is a fucking Targaryen and it's all but confirmed. He pretty much has the weakest claim out of any of the Starks.
>>71378542
I figured she stole it from the face factory.
Or maybe you really do cut the faces off. I always thought it was magic, since this isn't fucking Batman.

You're delusional
Wasted scene by not having gregor step out of shadows and crush loras
>>71378622
dude, they're all so far below any standard of good characterisation, acting or presentation to be called "good characters"
Why would all those actors agree to die just for a show? How was making that scene even legal?
http://webmshare.com/BXKqP
They need to make one of these where the punchline happens at pic related.
>>71378618

Melisandre got it the worst. Out of all the women of the show she's the most likable by far. Which is impressive considering she burned a child at the stake.

>>71378698
>And what the hell does the state of Bran's genitals have to do with the line of succession.
I hate this excuse the most, because every fucking retard knows perfectly well this doesnt matter. If the ability to produce heirs mattered at all, A. dany would have no claim and B. Rickon would have been the lord of winterfell in season 2 instead of Bran. Bran was already the fucking lord of winterfell jesus god why do people ignore that this happened
What about that theory that the crazy king raped Tywin's wife and so Jaime and Cersei are his children, and Cersei got the mad genes while danerys got the good ruler genes?

>>71378775

>>71378655
>Bloodraven specifically told Bran he wouldn't be "an old man in a tree"
So basically "yo nigga I did this shit all day erryday but you just do it for a few minutes a day, it's not even that big of a deal anyway man."
Pretty sure he planned to send him South after his lessons the whole time so the White Walkers don't rekk his shit.
>>71378726
I was expecting him to have some redeeming moments before dying but nope, just a pussy bitch end for a pussy bitch character I guess.
If Jon is actually a targaryan why did his hand burn in the first book when he threw the lantern at the wight?
>>71378195
>>71378292
When Cersei told Lancel "I choose violence" she wasn't necessarily sure how far that melee would go. She would have been equally content to watch Robert Strong tear the heads off of their entire delegation before they backed down, but it only took one demonstration of their complete and utter inferiority before they walked away.
>>71378665
I got the impression that by the time she had left the House of White and Black she had in fact completed her training and knew how to make faces of her own. After all, A Man did say she was now "no one" despite the fact that she clearly didn't intend to be.

Pycel was a creep, she subtly implies that he pedoed on her when she was younger. Also, he was very adamant about not letting her on the small council, and talking shit about zombie Mountain. He was probably one of the most vocal people against her.

He is Illyrio's bastard son, a Blackfyre descended from the female line that Varys and Illyrio are using for their own ends, and maybe partly because they believe he can genuinely do some good.
The "mummer's dragon" is something that has been foreshadowed for a long time, but that doesn't mean that it's a worthwhile plot or anything meaningful will come out of it. He'll just be another obstacle for Dany before getting stomped. The show did the story a service in cutting him.
>>71378777
She didn't give birth to shit, they hatched from eggs. I'm pretty damn sure she didn't lay those eggs.
>>71378665
>>71378852
There was nothing shown on screen that gave any indication Arya learned how to change her face at will. She took a face off the wall and used it, giving the idea she atleast knows how to become that person if she has a face

haha oh nice
>>71378847

>>71378877

Needed more Stannis
So GRRM confirmed that he told D&D that Cersei will blow up King's Landing... to what the same extent as the show, he didn't say...

He was part of the faith militant, so of course he would be there no matter what. It doesn't matter if he was above ground near the Sept and the high sparrow, or underneath, he would have died all the same. That being said, Cersei wouldn't have given specific orders to have him killed, he just wandered down there I guess so D&D could have a Michael Bay moment.
>>71378903
archetypes are not related to how a character is written, it seems you don't know what a good written character is. You just like the combination of words without knowing its meaning.
It all makes sense now. Yes anon, Jaime is a very well written character (lol)
Arya is just such a good actress now that she can wear someone's skin and it'll trick everyone in the 7 kingdoms.

what??
>>71378877
it's a retarded trainwreck that has nothing to do with the series anymore, but it's fun if you accept that
>>71378877
Not a popular opinion here, but even though the last episode was utterly predictable it was still very satisfying to see some prophecy finally come true.
>>71378936
She did make a face out of The Waif and put it in the house (granted, it was done as a bit of an insult). In a way I think that's why she was "No One" - the Many Faced God was promised a name/face, and it could have been either Arya or The Waif. The Waif ended up getting rekt.
Besides, if I were the Many Faced God I'd rather have her face to play around with. Shit's hot as fuck, mang.
So if the North does shit like the South does, who'll be Jon's:
Master of Ships
Master of Laws
Master of Whispers
Master of Coin
Hand
WILL WE EVER SEE SANSA NAKED
>>71378916
As a side note: if you had the powers to look through the universe, would you willingly choose to not do that all day erryday?
It's like studying history all day like Sam will do, but like live it and shit. That would be cool as fuck.
I guess most importantly: Bran probably doesn't want Winterfell. The North has already pledged to Jon, and Bran also has no experience.

the show should have demonstrated to you what happens if you take out proper setup: nothing makes any fucking sense.
Aegon was clearly planned as the whole point of Varys and Illyrio's characters, given he's almost definitely woven into the backstory of the 7 kingdoms via the blackfyres.
the alternative is Varys being a magical eunuch who helps people the audience likes just because.

Remember when Jaime told Brienne about the mad king? He said the mad king had hidden wild fire underneath places all over the city. He wanted to blow the entire thing up basically.
Thing became myth and and Cersei with Qyburn and all the little birds found out it wasn't. The wild fire used during BWB was produced not found.

>>71378367
5 year gaps :)
Dany had time to have Targaryan sails and figureheads made, so clearly a lot of time has passed.
>next season Cersei's story will continue as though almost no time has passed so we can have scenes of Jaime reacting to her coronation
XD
>>71379058
>Ships
His bloody name is Seaworth, that one's obvious.
>Laws
Mormont seems to be the only one that knows how oaths work around there.
>Whispers
Balish is pretty good at that, although no one trusts him. Maybe Arya? Seems a little far-fetched, but given how fast everyone is moving around now anything is possible.
>Coin
Balish had that job in the south, but he also completely fucked it in to the ground, so... probably anyone BUT him. Maby Manderly? They're the biggest house left in the north at this point, right?
>Hand
Well, Seaworth can't be Hand and Ships, so maybe... Tormund? Probably not since he knows nuthin' about the land south of the wall. Seaworth seems to be the only guy worth picking and he's clearly got Jon's ear, but that leaves Ships up for grabs and he's also the only guy that knows much about boats.
>>71379040

>white bird flew in to King's Landing in the first episode of Season 2 to mark ??????

>>71378742
I'm calling bullshit on that one. Bear Loli is more likable than her. Catelyn was way more likable than her. Hell, Olenna is even way more likable than her. Margery was incredibly charming in a superficial way, but I respected the fact that even after all the Sept torture, she didn't turn her back on her family, and came up with a brilliant play that used the Sept as a shield to protect her from Cersei. Didn't work out in the end because of the Wildfire plot, but even then she knew something was afoot and might have even gotten away had the Faith Militant not been so utterly stupid.
There's a lot of characters far more likable than Melisandre, but I would say at least Melisandre is one of the most interesting characters, maybe even the best female character on the show at the moment. She was pretty fucking dull and one dimensional though until Stannis' death.
>>71379180
Sansa would be his hand
Reminder that if you're not team Cersei that means you're either team Arya, CuckIA, Jon or Dany and you should go the fuck back to plebbit.
Cersei is the only patrician choice.
The way Cersi drove her hand on that Nun's body was kind hot.
After all these years you know what I've realized?
>>71378742

>We're talking about the lord of winterfell not the king in the north.
Good point, I fugged up there.
Whatever man, I don't really give a shit, I just don't think it could or would work out that way. Especially since we're in a MUH STRONK WYMMYN mode so D&D will probably give it to salsa.
It will be interesting if/when Bran actually does make it back to Winterfell. That's going to throw a wrench in basically everyone's plans to seat her there as the Lady of Winterfell. I do want to see what actually happens.
Also: I'm not a doctor, can you even have children after being a paraplegic? Just saying that could also factor in.

>>71379203

Who cares? If Bran can't have kids then he can name one of his siblings children his heir. Like how Robb named Jon his heir in the books after he thought the all the true heirs were dead. Brans reproductive capabilities dont actually matter at all.

It depends on the severity of the spinal injury. If the is a complete fracture of the spinal column, then no, but given the fact that Bran would appear to have control of his excretory system (being that we have never seen/read about him pissing and shitting down Hodor's back), it is likely that he can get it up.

In short, there was the theory that Lyanna actually wanted to fug Rhaegar, and Jon is the result
In the end Lyanna was not a prisoner of the Tower, she was safe, waiting for Rhaegar's son. This is Jon, who then was taken care of by Ned Stark which is why he never told him who his mother was.

Not buying the pedo angle. If Pycel would have pedo'd on her in any way shape or form, Tywin would have had the man ripped into pieces and had a chunk sent to every Maester in the kingdom to remind them of what happens to anyone who fucks with one of his daughters without his permission. Jamie would have destroyed him a long time ago had he even set foot near his sister/babymomma. Cersei herself would have had him poisoned or some shit sealing his fate before she even took the crown. It was a power play. She didn't like him, she didn't like him having knowledge about her (and therefore her weaknesses and the skeletons in her closet), so he had to be killed. Qyburn also didn't like him since Qyburn is a disgraced Maester and Pycel is still in good standing, and Pycel always looked down on him for it.

I feel quite different. I think a lot has *happened* to Danny but she hasn't actually done a lot herself other than be impossibly idealized by apparently everyone important and capable on the planet for no reason. I guess some of that might be Varys' work, I just find it hard to swallow that the world simply refuses to let this girl fail. It's like she's the exact opposite of a Mary Sue. She doesn't have anything really truly special about her, but it seems fate and the universe simply won't allow her to fall and keeps propping her up, time and time again, giving her free armies, dragons, resources, and all the most brilliant, loyal, amazing people in the kingdoms for no particular reason.

She does seem to have the strongest and most unified Kingsguard elite in quite a while, but a brotherhood of bodyguards only gets you so far even if one is an eight foot tall mute zombie supersoldier.
The Lannister army is also still one of the strongest in Westeros - they managed to take Riverrun with zero casualties, and Jamie made a point to Waldor that their "alliance" was really just the Lannister army bailing out those sorry sacks of shit over and over again.
Granted, she doesn't seem to have any real strategic or tactical acumen and Jamie isn't a great field commander. Jamie also probably wants to kill her now, so that's not helpful. She literally did what he killed his king to prevent, and in doing so made his son commit suicide because he could not stand to live without his wife. I can't imagine Jamie's terribly pleased about that.

Because according to the Fat Man the Targaryens, including Dany, aren't immune to fire (hence why Viserys and Targs in history died from fire) and Dany burning on the pyre when she birthed the dragons was a magical, one-time event to do with the blood magic.
D&D however can do whatever the hell they want with the show at this point, they're free to misinterpret certain things and make those misinterpretations true for the show universe so they must have thought this misconception of Dany being immune to fire was too cool in their heads to pass up just because GURM said so and wanted to reuse it because they like the idea of Dany being invincible.
In the behind the scenes, David and Dan call the fire immunity as being Dany's "superpower". But again, this "superpower" was never intended by GURM to be a thing whereas R+L is a significant revelation that he told David and Dan. So creating that plothole was David and Dan's fault, basically.
There's no "reason" Dany is immune because while GURM tends to have an explanation for everything that's part of his world, David and Dan ignored the logistics of it all here. If you asked them why only Dany immune to fire, they would have no answer for you other than "creatively it made sense to us, because we wanted it to happen".

Not being ironic. Being 100% genuine. Danny is portrayed as this heroic character, but she doesn't choose to suffer to help others. She suffers because of circumstances completely beyond her control, and the world literally seems to revolve around her because fate itself simply refuses to let her fall. She's not smart or witty or cunning or ruthless. She's naive and idealistic but unlike Ned Stark, she has an apparently infinite reserve of luck and people who worship her and simply come to her and obey her with unquestioning loyalty. There's no tension in anything Danny does because we know she will somehow succeed. We never question if she's really in danger because even against a Dothraki horde or a cult of magic sorcerers or whatever is thrown against her, her naive and idealistic plans always work out in the end no matter how ill conceived or absolute or ridiculously unbelievable her decrees are. No tension, no suspense, no mystery, no real struggle = extremely fucking boring, bad character.
Contrast with Tyron's beginning. He starts off as a dwarf who's father has somewhat of a death wish for him and who's family, one of the most powerful in Westeros hates him. We cheer for Tyrion because he's always in REAL danger. He gets hurt, he suffers, he falls, he triumphs, he falls again, and he RUNS. Now he's with Danny and under her magic protection bubble apparently, so he sucks too. Danny not only ruins herself as a character, she ruins other characters too. Pathetic.

No, it's better to show Ned and Jon on the same side and Cat/Salsa on the same side for the pottery in how similar they are
That and I haven't found good quality pics from this weeks episode with them next to each other that parallel Ned and Cat
Lyanna Mormont is an actual fucking meme. The fact that any of you like her is proof of how low this board has fallen to shitposting offsiters.
She's a fucking nine year old child walking around like she's a fucking wolf queen. The fact that she doesn't need a regent and isn't laughed at in every encounter is fucking absurd.

Get a load of this ass

Except there's a conveniently empty volcano fortress south of that and closer to the very people they will be dealing with on a regular basis once everyone accepts the fact that wight walkers aren't real and old horns can't melt cold walls.

Yeah, far be it from Cersei to ever besmirch her character by telling a bold faced lie. Also, Cersei is supposed to be one of the most beautiful women in the seven kingdoms in her prime. If they killed every man that ogled her while having dirty thoughts when she was a teenager, they'd have to kill almost every man in the kingdom that looked at her.
We also never see Pycel doing anything with kids. He fucks grown whores all the time, sure, that much is absolutely true, but we never see him with kids, so her accusation is probably bullshit.

I bet they have the fucking nastiest sex

That's WHY we like her. She's not fucking boring. She's strange and unusual and fun, but she's still just the leader of a very small, practically insignificant house. I mean come on, she could spare all of twenty good knights to help Jon. If anything it's ironic and amusing that she could have such a strong presence when barely being notable in any way shape or form both politically and militarily.
