Anyway they killed him or smth during climax, but he appeared before credits just fine. There was an episode of Power Rangers with these plant/flower monsters, I think at first they started out as regular flowers then kept feeding on people. There was one scene where two dumb kids went into the woods and the flower aliens started latching onto them and trying to eat them. It scared the shit out of me to the point that I was afraid to go out in the woods

Fucking nightmare fuel because I actually had a great aunt of mine visit that same year. I was convinced she was an impostor because she talked in her sleep (a lot) and sleep-walked which scared the shit out of me.

Either this was a real daytime cartoon they showed on British TV or I had a really horrible nightmare. I remember being 4-5 and watching Channel 4 during the day alone in my parents bedroom. They used to show animated shorts that were somewhat educational or taught a moral. This particular one was about a kid who ran away from home with his brother and stayed in a lodge in the snow. He sent his brother out and he froze to death in the cold. That's all I remember but I was absolutely terrified. It was animated in a sort of picture book type way I think. Never been able to find it.
