Who cares what they like or dislike? I'm as much of a book fan as they are, but for god's sake, learn the difference between casual TV and medieval inspired books with elaborate autistic world of knights and lords 93% of the people just wouldn't watch. We're lucky we have this as it is. It is a fun show. If books never existed, it would be as good as it gets for TV production. I don't even think we'd even over analyze it then. Sure, some things are straight out ridiculous (some, not nearly a lot) but every show had some ridiculous things if analyzed as GoT, so did Sopranos and Breaking Bad and whatever else /tv/ decided is GOAT. Not to mention none of those dealt with the stories as large as those in GoT. We've just had a huge battle of Meereen with three dragons attacking ships..ON TV. We've had full battle for Winterfell as well. This show deserves (almost) all praise it gets.
