She literally doesn't. Cersei doesn't act like an autistic power hungry girl in front of the rest. She used her beauty and charm-talk people. Which is why she doesn't like Margery and her family because her charms don't work on them and they have their own charms, like feeding the poor and shit.
We didn't see the actress play the part of Cersei dealing with the council, so you can't know if she would do better. Considering she is already better than Lena at everything we have seen then we can assume she is better than her at that too. Lena is simply terrible and uglier than the mother of hamburgers.
I was really hoping that they would do something with Rickons character. With every Stark child taking on a diffrent role, Bran becoming a greenser, Arya assasin and Sansa learning to be a manipulator from CIA, Rickon could become a regular lord. Good at commanding troops in regular battle and good at logistics.
They could even set it up, show his journey to Last Hearth, show him learning from the Umbers. Disposable characters are the pinnacle of shit writing.

I kinda think that Jon is a complex character in that him being a bastard, being at the Wall where he can't help his family and his commitment to his friends makes him stand out in the setting where everyone else besides Robb is a shitbag but it gets drowned out by the action from Wildlings and White Walkers.
