They're going to make the wall collapse somehow, but as long as a proper army meets them before they start hitting villages in the north then the living will win.
We've only seen them against lightly armoured forces so far, all of which didn't fight in formation or with a unified plan. Nights watch were massively outnumbered. Assuming the living army doesn't rout from the weird magic they'll be using then everything will be fine. WW's can be taken out be dragonglass, but even if there isn't enough there are maybe 100 of them? I honestly think Dany with her dragons and unsullied could do it on her own.

If you think about it, the white walkers and the army of the dead arent much of a threat, I mean a fire attack and some obsidian arrowheads and job done, it's not like westeros doesnt have a bunch of armies mobilized either, unless ice king can create some sort of bs ice forcefield we havent seen yet.

getting a coordinated fire attack and enough obsidian together is tricky. Particularly given that WW can potentially raise anyone from the dead once they get South of the wall. So not only are any casualties from earlier in the battle getting up and attacking you, so are your grandparents and your great great grandparents. As for the armies mobilised, almost all apart from Reach and Vale have been involved in a big engagement and got all fucked up. So yes, potentially, they could make it to Dorne. And that's based only on what we know now, they could have more tricks up their sleeves.

There's not a lot of obsidian available though. On the other hand, there aren't that many Walkers, either, and Wights are cannon fodder.
The main issue is that there are a lot of wights, though, and that there's almost no-one in the North ready to fight them. And that if you die in battle against them there's a good chance you'll come back as one of them. If they're allowed to get past the Wall and if they go South, their numbers will also increase exponentially due to the fallen soldiers from the various wars that'd been going on.
