So, in The Winds of Winter, let's look at the Starks.
Jon will rise from the dead one way or the other, and will be riding south. I speculate he'll be coming back a changed and savage man, more wolf than boy by the time he comes back. He'll be violent, reckless, and cold.
Arya is in Braavos, working under Izembaro. She'll have a few assassination contracts, culminating with a few important ones, and gain incredibly important skills and learn dark secrets. But one way or another, she'll be sailing back to Westeros. She won't become No One, but I doubt the same Arya Stark is coming back.
Sansa is in the Vale, preparing for a tourney for the Winged Knights, and her and Petyr are preparing for her marriage to Harry Hardyng- which may or may not actually occur, and the revelation to the Lords of the Vale that she is indeed Sansa Stark, which will pit Petyr against the Crown- set to fall into chaos with the wars with Euron and Aegon, so they will be distracted. Sansa's journey may be going North, but first I think they'll be observing the Frey civil war in the Riverlands after old Walder dies. But soon, Winterfell will be on the agenda, where Stannis's campaign against the Boltons is going full throttle.
Rickon is in Skagos. Davos is on a quest in this land of cannibals and unicorns, and the Rickon he'll find will be a beast boy. This little child has powerful warging abilities, but the mind of his wolf is stronger than his own, and Rickon himself may have turned too far to his wolf side, like Jon. What that means for Davos, Manderly, and Stannis is interesting, but Rickon has a part to play in the war in the north.
Bran of course, will be beyond the wall training, and seeing, and learning. He's likely eaten Jojen, and will learn secrets from centuries ago, become more powerful as a warg, and possibly change time itself- this almost seems certainly the case with Hodor. But if that's true, then Bran will be leaving his cave, and going south. Perhaps home before long.

Undoubtedly. Melisandre and Jon being a part of Stannis's brutal and exhausting northern campaign will be great reading. The war doesn't end at Winterfell, there'll be Barrowton, the Dreadfort, and several skirmishes to fight, all in winter. It'll be like Napoleon's war. I'm looking forward to Stannis and ChangedJon's interactions.

No, I think the revelation won't come until the northern characters are marching south- presumably to escape the Others. They'll pass by the Neck and that's where they'll meet Howland Reed.

Sadly, I think Stannis will tragically be a part of this burning. I think it's going to be done under horrible stakes, though. Well, the Davos plot has to take some time, for literary pacing. I don't think it'll be as simple as grabbing Rickon and then getting out of there. He'll probably spend a good third of the book on Skagos, and I think Rickon's existence will complicate the northern political climate rather than resolve it. I don't know which lord Davos is going to run into first, considering Stannis will be on the march and Manderly is at Winterfell- where are the northern lords going to go after the battle? I'm really interested in the Davos and Rickon plot but I have no idea how things are going to happen.
This show seems to think women are too good to even poop. They completely failed to portray scenes of Daenerys in the wasteland as they should've been. Exploring her adaptability, willfullness and conviction. There's always journey by ship through Eastwatch, on the way to White Harbor, but yes even then, storms at sea are dangerous. Jon won't be staying at the Wall for long after his resurrection though.

1. Prologue with Jon inside Ghost
2. Stannis lures the Freys into the lake
3. Stannis burns Arnolf Karstark, pretending he's Theon Kinslayer, and sends Theon into Winterfell pretending to be Arnolf to tell Roose that Stannis has been defeated.
4. Mance has lured Ramsay and his dogs into the crypts and locked them in. No one in Winterfell knows what happened to Ramsay.
5. Theon lets Stannis' forces into Winterfell and they take the castle at night.
6. Jon wakes up in the cold storage underneath Castle Black among salted ham and smoked meats. Melisandre, Selyse, and Shireen have been hiding underneath the castle while mutineer NW and wildlings kill each other. Mel tells Selyse that she saw Jon in the flames and the Queen's Men recover his body. Mel and Selyse burn Shireen to resurrect Jon.
7. Mel and Selyse arrive at Winterfell with Jon. Selyse tells Stannis about Shireen in private and he chokes her to death in anger. He throws Melisandre in the dungeons and speaks to Jon at length about what happened and what he saw.
8. Stannis works with Jon and Manderly to figure out the future of the North and how Stannis will take back the Iron Throne, but these plans are wasted when the Night's King invades the North and the South has descended into war between two Targs.
