They made Space Cops twice actually. The first time they made it it was very low budget and incomplete. Other actors appeared in the film as well.
Once they started getting support (money) from fans and blew up on Youtube they scrapped the first version of Space cop and re-shot everything. Mike wanted to prove that the online meme rumors of him being racist are not true l so they paid for not one but two black actors who are not part of their usual circle of friends and have never been seen in RLM videos since. They got a celeb cameo and made the effects and costumes look more professional. At the end of the day the fancy polished version of Space Cop lacked the nature charm and humor they usually bring to their videos. It seem forced and over done. There just wasn't any joy or tits in it.
