Man, the scenes with the Mormonts and the Glovers were directed perfectly.
Our band of diplomats is first treated to a little lady, a silly scene, but she doesn't stand for condescending talk and it's obvious that she commands the presence in the room. Davos remains quiet till the end, pulling the trope of, 'The unknown will be the voice of reason.' It works for the scene, and they carry on.
BUT THEN, when they visit the Glovers, Sansa is the one who remains quiet, who is being built up as the one to sway the Glover's minds to their side as they did with the Mormonts. She even has this sassy look on her face, like she'll be the voice of reason. But... In a stroke of directing genius, I believe, she fails miserably, and we have one of the fiercest, most justified, debasing put downs of the Starks yet. Everything the Glovers' said were true, and it was awesome to watch Sansa crawl back into her shell for a moment, realizing that she still had a lot to grow.
