I dunno man, I can't say I agree. Actually, as I think of it, the writing for Tyrion has declined considerably. He's a bit Flanderised now, he used to be more of a real character, now he's barely more than a quip machine. I think they didn't manage to snap him out of the Yollo-mode they were going for during his journey, they haven't really made it land that he's found something now.
Jaime's arc would be incredibly difficult to pull off in the show. More than just about any other character's arc, it's reliant solely on the character's own introspection. That's very difficult to portray on screen, so while I agree it's nowhere near as good as in the books, it's not something that bothers me too much.
For the rest, I dunno what to tell you except YMMV. I never stopped enjoying Arya scenes, so take that for what it's worth (and I don't even think Williams is hot at all).
