For once, the directors tried something that was different from the books and worked. You may be assblasted by the fact that Dorne is so much more important in the books and so much things are happening there. But in the shows, Dorne takes three seasons to be introduced, Oberyn Martell was awesome in season 4. In season 5 we see the direct repercussions of What happened in kings landing on dornish nobility. at the end of the season Dorne takes its revenge on the lannisters by killing Myrcella. Now it is season 6, the sneks have killed all of the men, they control Dorne now, Cersei obviously know there are responsible for her daughter's death but she doesnt exact any kind of vengeance. That's what is so clever with the Dorne arc, it shows how the new matriarchy of Dorne is so much more powerful than Cersei and KL will ever be. How much would cersei pay to be able to kill the sparrows and the small council ? We even know she controls (or does she ?) varys' birds and the mountain and she does jack shit, she even accepts her son's endoctrinment. Long live the Sneks they know how to take power, in only one episode they overthrew an entire kingdom. Even Dany can't take care of her sand people !!!

Kristofer Hivju (Tormund) said in an interview filming that shot where Jon and Sansa reunite was an absolutely nightmare to shoot, since Sophie Turner couldn't comprehend the scene.
Apparently Sophie started freaking out, since they kept telling her to happily embrace Jon, but in reality there was no man there, just a manlet. She started flipping her shit because she couldn't understand that he'd be stepping onto a crate so he could reach her.
Eventually they just gave up and told her to hug Gwendoline Christie and they'd add Kit's face with CGI. Kristofer said it took like an hour to film that 3-4 second shot because Sophie was so fucking terrible.
