Well yes that premise is done a lot, but how many of them are tentacle cars? I mean just the visuals alone are something they could really play with and get some good action out of it. I wouldn't expect this movie to blow me away storywise, but if the visuals are creative and they make some clever action out of it could be fun. You can do a lot in a movie with a basic premise, some fun characters, and a nice amount of visual flair
