The thing that pains me the most is that Stannis didn't order their men to burn his daughter.
Instead he left the red woman, his wife and daughter in castle black and told his men to protect his daughter with his life and ensure that she gets the iron throne if something happens to it.
It actually made sense because in the show Stannis loves his daughter and in the last second he lets his zealously overcome him which makes no sense.

If Bran can change the past, he'll make completely separate timelines, not change the past of the timeline he's currently on. Mostly meant that she came back because of red magic. The circumstances were very different.
Also another note: Brienne's plot is very different in the books and her story ends with a cliffhanger where Catelyn is going to hang her, but Brienne says 'a word' that may or may not have influenced her decision to hang her.
She probably didn't of course but it's still ambiguous in the books.

In medieval times cousin and cousin marriage was pretty normal. Not most common, but nobody would bat an eye. Frankly, it's even fine today in terms of biology. Cousins are distant enough that the risk of inbreeding is pretty minimal.
I dont' do it often in CK2, but every now and then it's a good way to cull the dynasty from getting too big and it can let you combine claims on lordships.
Like say, I have two sons. One marries Hornwood and the other a Flint, each lady having claims on Hornwood and Widow's Watch respectively, which will be passed down to their children.
So much later down the line after they've died, and ideally have each had a boy and a girl, I can then marry the cousins together. Press their claims, and then THEIR child will inherit both lordships plus the original lordship their great grandfather held.
