What don't you like about them? I find the problem with many minimalist posters is that they take an unimportant element in the movie and make the whole poster about it, which makes the subject of the movie hard to understand if you haven't seen it like >>69966002 I would admit the Olly Moss posters suffer that problem with making Boba and 3PO the subjects. But I think the RotJ is real good, and i think the use of cloud city and the twin suns in their respective posters are clever enough to make up for their problems.

Watched this the other day cause I had seen this poster posted here a few times. It's a very striking image.
I did a big touch-up of a high resolution scan of this poster and was extremely proud of how it turned out. I was going to print it out and mount it on my wall, but forgot about it and now I've got no idea where it went to. So fuck me.

How do you even judge the quality of a poster? Based on how well it sells the movie (it's actual purpose)? How much it communicates about the movie to people who haven't seen it? How meaning it has from the perspective of someone who has seen it?
Always liked this one. It's one of those damsel in distress but this actually happens in the movie. They did sort of model the girl on the poster after the one who gets monster raped in the movie.

I only got about 15 minutes into this movie before I have to turn it off. It doesn't help that I finished watching Decker like two days before because I'm pretty sure Decker is a mix of Deckard from BR and the dude from Burn Notice and every other shitty vigilante show. It's great for Preminger's direction and mise-en-scene. The mystery is pretty involving too,but the film takes a left turn in the final ten minutes involving one of the characters doing a 180 degree turn for no other reason than plot mechanics.Still worth seeing.
