There's basically two paths in end game:
The first is Jon vs. Dany and that will end with Dany being the Mad Queen and everybody leaving her except Jorah. This would fall in line with themes pertaining to people allied to her including Tyrion and the Ironborn. Tyrion, Varys, Jorah, and the Ironborn all have a recurring theme of following a lost or false cause. Tyrion especially working towards that lost cause just to be put down or overlooked. This would end with Jon on the throne and confirming his prophecy of AA. It would also be the antithesis of his anti-leadership nature, and throw a moral to the theme of "those who lust for power never get what they want." Lastly it would fall in line with Dany's vision she had in the temple where she got to King's Landing but the entire throne room was covered in Snow, which is similar to how Bran foresaw the sacking of Winterfell as water overflowing the walls.
The second scenario is that Jon and Sansa team up with Dany. This would almost certainly end with Jon as kingofdanorf or back at Castle Black while Dany sits on the throne. If it was the books I'd say that Young Griff has a better shot at the throne in this scenario than Dany just because Dany being on the throne is too predictable for GRRM. With a lack of Young Griff, it's still not too far fetched to put Dany on the Iron Throne in the end.

The show could have been so much better if they simply did 13 episode seasons. This leaves so much more room to expand smaller characters as well as introduce more minor ones. So according to the show, the CofF created the White Walkers. If I remember my Westeros history, the CotF eventually allied with the First Men to fight off the White Walkers. The main current White Walker has an attire on that implies that he is the fabled Night King. If so, who the fuck made him one, did the CotF go back and make him one even though they fought them in the past? Or do you think they are going to bring up the night queen? Or is that maybe not the Night King like people thought?
Also, what were the people in Essos fighting during the Long Night that led to the creation of their myths, which are similar to the ones of Westeros? Somehow white walkers were created in both continents?

I can't be the only one who was extremely underwhelmed by what was pretty much the biggest reveal in the series. It made the entire universe feel very small and contained, and ruined a large part of the story's mystery for me. And the time travel fuckery, just a mess. I really hope this is George giving D&D his discarded ideas for use in the show and that it'll play out differently in the books. He himself stressed the importance of mystery in fiction and fantasy.

It shows bran has a slight presence in the scenes he goes back in time to e.g Ned hearing his voice, NK seeing and touching him (although I think the NK being magical enhanced his ability to see brans projection). When Bran was back in time with young hodor, he heard yelling from the current time telling him to war into hodor. I think he understood they meant in the current situation and not into the young hodor, as old hodor is immediately controlled. As time passes a little bit though I think his slight presense in the past made him also war young hodor (notice how it took a little bit to affect young hodor though, as his warning "bleeds" through to the past. Since bran is now in young hodor but controlling old hodor, young hodor is experiencing everyoung old hodor is, but not being controlled by bran since his focus is on old hodor, and young hodor freaking out is just a side effect of a child suddenly witnessing a shittonne of zombies and shut like some kind of ducked up nightmare. I also think that him experiencing that bridging of minds damaged him somewhat, hence the whole "hodor" thing.
