If they die, their death will move the plot forward. Tyrion may still die in a silly way, but not Arya, Dany and Jon. Their characters are such piles of "muh-serious" character dev turns that any "meaningless" death would be bad litterature by now.
Imagine if one of Arya's wound got infected and she died spent the rest of the season coughing and dying in her sleep by episode 9.
