There is something really bothering me about this season, apart from all the common shenanigans our friend D&D pull to ruin the story even more.
The things is: Why the FUCK everybody is swearing right now?
"Fuck fate"
"Fuck the gods"
"Fuck kneeling"
Different characters, from different cultures, in different situations, are all not only providing unecessary swearing at the same time, but also
simply acting like edgy retards who want to show how they don't care about things that were stabilished before in the minds of the people of this world.
Swearing is the easiest way to portray their feelings, I get it. But it just doesn't make any fucking sense.
Many people on the show are characters that, until now, rarely used those expressions.
The actually tried to put effect on their words with veiled threats, expressions with multiple meanings, inspiring speeches and references.
It was a great moment when The Hound said "Fuck the King", because we saw all that happened to lead to that point. Two seasons of Joffrey being an insufferable asshole, and we knew that Sandor Clegane didn't liked fire, didn't believed in oaths or chivalry.
He reached the boiling point and then gave up on King's Landing and the Lannisters. It was a good scene.
But now.. Fuck, now everyone is just saying "fuck this" and "fuck that". At the same fucking time.
They don't try to make sense anymore, they don't try to express their ideas or feelings with words.
They just fucking swear.. As if they all had some qt Lyanna on their minds whispering "Swear to me" all the fucking time.
