In all reality, dual wielding swords would likely only achieve getting disarmed much fucking easier. Think about it, even if you're only holding one light sword and you take a substantial hit, you normally see them grab it with both hands before they end up losing their grip and dropping it. With one in each hand, as soon as that happens you're fucked.
I'm not some weeb, pro-sword battle retard, but for the sake of TV shows it only makes sense. Obviously there might be an advantage to swinging two swords around like a wild nigger, but they're risking accuracy for a slightly higher hit-rate.

Why are you guys so certain that duel wielding Dayne is going to appear in this episode?
I have a dream that soon I'll win the lottery and buy a controlling interest in HBO. I'll then force a soft reboot for Season 7-8 so that every single character will always be holding a sword in each hand. I'll ensure there are plenty of flashbacks to earlier seasons, which will be reshoots with the characters each holding a sword in each hand.
I'll have Bran flash back to himself flashing back to the ToJ (he will be holding a sword in each hand both in the present-day and in the flashback) and Dayne will be holding two swords with a third one tucked between his legs. This will make him so badass that it takes both dual-wielding Ned and dual-wielding Howland Reed to take him down. Ned and Reed will remark to each other afterwards about how badass and incredibly effective this triple-wielding tactic is, and how close it came to defeating them.
