I don't think there will be a sequel, but I would watch one. Hopefully it would feature more of the mechs though, given that those other ones get less than a minute of screen time I think before they die. It would even be cool to see the mechs fighting each other in a sort of human civil war type scenario.

Remember that this is a movie about massive mechs, not missiles. That said, the only mech that uses missiles is Striker Eureka, that's a brand new mech, remember earlier how regular military took 6 days to kill one kaiju?

The wall was quite clearly just a ruse for the normies while the rich people fled down into their underground bunkers

I think this movie is a dumb movie made in a smart way, if that makes sense.
