No way they'd go the Injustice route.
The reason Supes went crazy is because he was tricked into pummeling Lois to death while she carried their unborn child, and then witnessed a nuke wiping out all of Metropolis after he'd done it. That's too dark even for Snyder. Lois simply dying by gunshot or something wouldn't trigger him this bad, so i hope they don't go there.
