Bale made Wayne into a persona, a playboy millionaire.. Affleck had no real difference between Batman and Bruce.
That being said, The suit was great, the fighting and atmosphere was great.. Batman actually doing detective work was awesome.
They did a lot of things right. It's just a shame it was forced into a superman movie.

Bale's Batman is just really flat and lacks personality, and when he's Bruce he is either playing millionaire or lacks emotion altogether. Basically he seems like a true psychopath and I don't know that that works too well on screen.
