Honestly? Ichi The Killer

it was so delightfully bizarre. I never knew what would happen next, which is pretty rare in a movie.

Bear in mind it was my first exposure to Klaus Kinski and was watching it with low expectations because it was like number 8 in a marathon of shitty Dracula movies I was watching. I expected it to be like the rest and instead it blew my fucking mind.

The most underrated Dark Fantasy movie ever made. Holy shit.

Not even memeing, 2001 A Space Odyssey. I watched it for the first time the other night and it really did blow my mind, especially the last 25 minutes or so.
I can't recall any other movies having the same effect on me.

For real? I'm having one of those right now, mind sharing your list from when you did this?

I'm putting together a monthlong weekend monster marathon type thing, Dracula first, Frankenstein second, Wolfman third, Mummy fourth, etc.

This looks kind of terrible, but it's Neil Jordan, no?

The Wolf of Wall Street

Seriously though, i waited till i had a shitty rainy afternoon so i could take on the 3h30 runtime of the movie, expecting to be exhausted at the end, and ended up wanting more, that's kind of an acomplishment right there

It is. I'd hate to spoil one of the best scenes in the movie but this sequence completely floored me. Judge for yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wCzo9iu_zs
