I've seen the movie already. It's fantastic, probably the best comic book movie since Dark Knight and will likely be this year's Mad Max in terms of visuals and critical acclaim. Society has gotten so stupid to the point that a film almost always needs high-end special effects and cgi to capture their feeble, fleeting attentions. This is why film critics invariably put these types of films in a box they label "rotten." The two exceptions to this are 1) Avatar, which has an rt score of 83%, and 2) the Marvel (but not DC) superhero films. Avatar received high acclaim for its innovative blend of cgi with real action. Marvel films have received high acclaim, because the critics have been bought by the Jews running Disney.

Superman Returns was stylistically identical to the Donner films and it flopped so the not muh superman arguments are bullshit. MoS had horrible pacing, drab visuals, truckloads of product placement, inconsistent main character with no coherent moral code, it ripped off a lot of shit from the Matrix sequels, it showed thousands of people dying in the most nihilistic way possible. The entire script was just complete garbage.
Man of steel was horrible. It was a full blown assault on logic.
The internal rules the movie set up were broken in the next scene constantly.

That's safe to assume considering the advice dad gives Clark, and by advice I mean "I don't know...maybe," constantly and superman then proceeds to not know or care that his fights killed a small town and a city. That's interesting and a great idea and worth exploring, especially when you consider that we are watching a superman movie and he flat out tells the audience he is "hope." So now Superman represents what is wrong with us as a culture...but that is somehow hope?
Hope. Hilarious. Hope from what? Zod? What was mr El sending us his son for? Hope? Or to protect the codex? The movie says superman is here to provide us with a light to follow and give us hope. Except what he does is not inspiring and and he "saves" us from a threat that is only here because of him.
The movie was such a baffling mess that it made action boring. The destruction and killing of Zod are just the low hanging fruit, easily identifiable problems we can point to as we try to make sense of everything else not making any sense.
