I watched the first episode, the only good parts were the Dano scenes. The rest felt very campy.
The end of episode 5 with Andre and Anatole holding hands in the tent was powerful.

The production value is just astonishing. I loved every minute of War and Peace. It's a shame we live in a world where a 6 hour epic of love, loss, war, and tragedy gets less attention then a man in red tights making dick jokes.
