That wasn't really scary though. A lot of the violence in this book really just felt like a bloody drug filled haze. It's just one of those things that the group was doing. Wasn't it the kid that was smashing babies' skulls?
Even still the Judge stands out as the orchestrator of a lot of the shit that happens. Yeah the Glanton gang participated, and Glanton himself was a pretty fucked up individual, but most of them seemed to be just going along with everything.
Just the thought of a man being so fucking ruthless and insane, be completely unstoppable, is a little terrifying.
