It's about traditional values and a sense of community, that we pretty much got it right with those but keep getting lured away by false promises of something better, especially during dark times. That on the sea of absurdity where the final destination can only be death, friends, family and the kindness of strangers are the things that keep us afloat and light the way trough the darkness, and that no silver tongued politician, self help course, pretentious dead Frenchman or Alien visitors are going to make the paradise most of us already got available to us any better.
