Why is Breaking Bad being called a reddit show?
I don't know, according to /tv/ everything is reddit
>>63649425
/thread
What a stupid question. Because it's literally Reddit: The Show. Plus its overrated
le who is it you le think you le see???
>>63649378
insecure manchildren can't just unironically like something so they have to manufacture a reason why they don't like it and reddit is the boogeyman du jour
>>63649378
It's cool to be a contrarian. Liking stuff is for faggots.
>>63649458
I get the part that its overrated, but why is called reddit: the show?
I agree that reddit is not actual criticism or its just a really badly formed as hominem but BrBa as a show really is a one time thing. All those cliffhangers and oneliners made it a novelty show and novelty wears thin.
>>63649378
>this is reddit, this is memes
It's reddit as fuck
>>63649554
*ad hominem
>A guy opens his door and gets memed on and you think that of me? No. I am the one who memes.
It was a good show but it is pretty reddit.
>>63649378
I have about as much respect for Breaking Bad as I do for the dog shit on my shoe.
It is Reddit, it is capeshit, it is cheeto dust, it is video games. It's nothing more than meme's enjoyed by simplistic pledditors.
I have ZERO respect for people who are not free thinkers and blindly enjoy the capeshit redditory Reddit show that is breaking bad.
I'm literally screaming, slamming my arms on my desk right now just thinking about it.
>>63649635
>>63649460
am i the only one who finds this funny?
especially the one with le one who le knocks and le i am le danger
Go back to reddit OP
>>63649890
yeah i'm pretty sure everyone giggles at it except for the people literally from reddit (there are lots of them though)
>>63649890
no
I'M LE DANGER XD
It reinforces reddit-tier ideas such as that you have to stay a kuck to your bitch whore wife and that becoming a patriarchical shitlord will inevitably end in your demise.
>>63649378
anything that becomes mainstream popular after 4chan gets bored of it becomes reddit.
SAY LE NAME XD
>>63650020
>4chan gets bored
easiest way to detect a redditcvck

HEISENBERG
>>63650052
well he has a point
i don't know if you were here when breaking bad was airing, but the threads were amazing.
>>63649508
because in S1 it was le sekrit good series that only tv watched
but ratings started to go up quickly and eventually reddit started talking about it and like everyone else, they liked it
so /tv/ hates it now
>>63649378
Reddit is popular.
Breaking Bad is popular.
Therefore Breaking Bad IS Reddit.

BO-BO-BO-BO-BO-BONFIRE
>>63650098
yeah, BB and GoT threads are what the reddit cvcks came here for
thank fucking Christ GoT general has been purged
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMlNl0fKwxQ
I dare you to watch this and not get shivers down your spine when the music kicks in.
>>63649378
BECAUSE I DONT LIKE IT THAT'S WHY
>>63650107
If you actually base your tastes on what people on a website you don't even go to think about something then you should seriously rethink your life
>>63650098
exactly. when I binge watched BB back around the second half of season 5, I was so fucking hype to see how the series ended. I didn't browse /tv/ at the time but I imagine the threads here would have mirrored that hype in some regard. It seems like its always only when a show ends or a movie comes out when /tv/ decides they hate that thing now or they're just tired of it due to it becoming more popular than it was before ending/being released.
>>63650227
don't tell it to me, tell it to plebs like >>63650147
>>63650227
Hey, at least he is probably not a liberal.
>>63650246
you realise that your long-ass posts give away that you're a redditor, right?
nobody's going to read that shit you stupid fucking fuccboi
>>63650195
they were nothing like the LE EDITION xD dr who and got threads.
Breaking Bad is going to age like LOST in that its going to have no replay value and the hype came from wondering what was going to happen next week.
>>63649378
Who cares? Calling something reddit isn't legitimate film criticism.
>>63650348
not really
breaking bad is a great tragedy that is about the acting, the dialogue, and the style, while LOST was about the answers to the questions it raised.
>>63650168
i disagree
i find it to be quite funny.
top le
>>63650304
dr who threads are still alive too
target those for SW spoilers first
>>63649378
Because newfags like >>63649458 are pleb as fuck and don't know how to actually have a discussion on anything, so they just shitpost about how "X is Reddit: The Show."
This is what happens when the newfriends don't lurk enough after they decide to leave /b/, they think the whole site should just be shitposting
>>63650980
/thread
redditors come here to shitpost
>>63650348
Wrong. It's a good crime show set in New Mexico that told its story tightly and to the point, never dragged its ass.
>>63650271
lol wut?
Oh I get it, because everyone rides on the liberal hate dick because its "reddit" and "tumblr" to think otherwise, further proving the point of what >>63650227 said about plebs basing their opinions on what some people on one website believe.
>>63651452
tl;dr
pls no spergouts here faŠ¼
I think most of the hate for Breaking Bad came from the fanbase, which like anything becomes completely obnoxious once a show reaches a huge level of popularity.
It didn't help that some of the most vocal fans were retards who didn't understand that Walter White was an egotistical, delusional, bitter man who was going to get everyone around him killed, not a badass meant to be emulated.
Hell just look at posters on /tv/ who shit on the dubstep car scene, when it's actually a perfect representation of how Walt's ego and desire to be a badass ends up being just silly and ridiculous.
>>63650348
It's been two years since breaking bad ended and people still talk about it.
In 2012 noone talked about lost anymore.
how could she have been a better character
>>63649425
FUCKING THIS SENPAI
because it's one of the biggest tv shows in the world and you can't look cool or sound cool on /tv/ by mentioning it
>>63652275
Not being a complete and utter cunt the entire time she was onscreen would have helped a little.
>>63652275
if she straight up decided to help and support walt as soon as she found out. would have been chill.
i think about this with every show, though.
>why doesn't prado in dexter just follow his fucking code so we can get some decent bro action going?
annoys me that everything has to be a fucking adversary
Why is The Wire being called a reddit show?
>>63649378
>met a friend today
>tells me that he saw a guy with a breaking bad jacket
>tell him he should rather get a leather jacket like tony soprano
>his response is "the sopranos is shit"
He's a nice guy, but very, very plebian. He marathoned Dexter all the way and thinks it got better and better. He dropped The Sopranos during season 3 because it's boring and shit.
>tfw he bought the special edition of Pixels for that fucking pac man statue and wants to watch it with me tomorrow.
>>63649554
>All those cliffhangers and oneliners made it a novelty show and novelty wears thin.
Somewhat agreed. It's a great premise, but it is kind of like Prison Break in that respect. Lost holds up better.
>>63652885
Dexter is unfairly shit on (esp s3/5/6/8). It's a pretty based show even if the fanbase is (or was) full of teens.
>>63649991
To be fair, being a patriarcical shitlord will almost always end in your demise.
It was popular
>>63649378
Because it got popular to the point normies started watching it.
>>63652944
The only good seasons of Dexter were 1,2,3,4,7. 5,6,8 were literal garbage you fucking pleb
I see why people don't like Breaking Bad, but it's undeniable that the cinematography was some of the best television has ever seen.
>>63652944
Not after Trinity it wasn't.
>>63650227
>on a website you don't even go to
>Implying the "Reddit: The Show" shitposters didn't come here from /r/4chan
>>63652885
Well, honestly, The Sopranos lacked a major plot-arc in season 3, but in no way it was boring, it had good episodes like university, pine barrens, amour fou and others that i dont quite remember.
>>63649425
