What are some nice, fun, friendly little movies?
Movies that won't change your life but will make you spend a very nice evening.

I can name
>romantic
-Crazy Stupid Love
-Magic in the Moonlight
-Midnight in Paris

>animation
-The Incredibles
-Ratatouille
-How to Train your Dragon

>on the action side
-Kingsman
-Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

Please no "le gritty dark" movies, pretentious movies, movies with a lot of sex or edgy themes, movies with too many fights and action scenes (like most American-produced action movies)

In Bruges
Rushmore

The great mouse detective
Big trouble in little China
Mars attacks
Johnny English
Gladiator
Pirates of the Caribbean
Chitty chitty bang bang
Finding nemo
I'd also say the phantom menace, it's very much a "turn your brain off" kind of film.
Scream.

MIdnight in Paris is the most pleb trying to masquerade as patrician film ever made. I want to hate it so much, but I cannot. I love it.

I love the stupid plot, the hamfisted message, the nice score, the historical figures, the way Owen WIlson simultaneously plays himself, but he's also doing a spot-on Woody Allen.

7/10 would comfy
>>
Pretty comfy.

Yep, pretty much

Just like he tries to lazily hamfist Nietzsche into a rom com in Magic in the Moonlight, and in the end you can't help but like the movie. It's heart warming, fun, beatifully shot, beautifully scored, a really nice movie.

I saw it yesterday, I thought it exposed James Bond as boring and try hard.
It reminded me of the good old days when Bond movies used to be fun, I'd love a sequel.
