In the first 5 or 6 series the pace was good.
The last few series, the pace seems rushed. It makes the episodes feel very short and like the plot is forced. I guess they really have to wrap up the plot this time though, but still, it was comfy when the show wasn't exactly going anywhere, they were both just existing and not sure what to do.
By most shows standards the majority of peep show episodes are just filler.
I hope you enjoyed all the Aldi, Kenco, Candy Crush product placement. There was more too.

Peep Show has always done well by supporting characters with their subtleties, such as Dobby liking re-enactment and warcraft but also likes being social and goes to the pub, etc.
Why did they go all out? Felt like it was Americanised where they had to literally spell it out as plain they could to the audience that he was meant to be boring, as if he was oblivious to how boring he was.

There was too little interaction with characters outside the main two. What I've always liked is how other people react towards Jeremy and Mark. They brought in Gerry and he was a failure, I don't see how they watched it back and thought it was in any way funny.
