Joe however seems to believe that he shouldn't stand guilty of that, so instead tries turning the tables on the matter and says that we attacked him first and everything from him was some form of a knee-jerk reaction. It's not what he said that is the entire story in our campaign (as you like to put it). It is the fact he lies about it afterwards that needs to be exposed.

Selfish about his regeneration? For a the final story of a Doctor is that really the way you should be painting them? I like consistency of character. I don't feel it represented him accurately at all, more RTD's second thoughts about leaving.

Honestly, I really like that scene. 10 is afraid to die, he's freaking out (and having delusions of grandeur like he did in The Waters of Mars) because he knows there's no way out, but he finally manages to get a hold of himself and even accept his mortality. It's a redeeming moment.
Also, Wilf begging the Doctor to let him die and save himself is fucking heartbreaking.

Still gets me every time. If I have one problem with this scene is that 10 didn't regenerate then and there. His character arc was complete, no need for the farewell tour. Also, "Wilfred, it's my honour" would have been better last words imo.
