That literally has fuck all to do with my post. Space travel is not nor has it been an issue
My point is they aren't on Homeworld. All evidence seems to point a them wanting to move "away" from Homeworld. Why would a race of god-like space rocks want to move away unless there's something they can't stop and want to get away from. Why would the Diamonds leave the comfort of their own home planet if there's nothing forcing them to? It's the job of the colonists they put in charge of to watch over any projects and make sure they're done, not them.
