WHO AND WHY WOULD YOU PAY FUCKING MONEY FOR THAT
I don't like this edition
>>3951444
Anon, it's not even the first Becca commission she's done. The last one was like 11 pages, about Becca fucking a furry with huge tits and a dick.
>>3951444
Maybe we are wrong and this character is not in the spotlight for grotesque self indulgence, but by overwhelming popular demand.
>>3957227
I'm pretty sure it was always popular demand, anon.
>>3951358
>>3961629
Fire and maneuver. Basic shit, but it suggests a level of training beyond the common street thug. Enough to make me curious.
Also enough to make me seriously consider getting supplemental training after the academy.

Can we ditch these slogans already and just go with "Stop Fucking Killing Each Other"?

I'll admit. Even after all this time, this gif still gets me from time to time.
>>3961992
Please don't.
Good news Anonymous!
You've been transported to Zootopia and reincarnated as the animal of your choice!
Bad news! Your body will turn to salt in One Year and your soul condemned to wander Zootopia as a hungry ghost unless you find true love in that year and have it reciprocated!

I want to lewd the bun.
What's the deal with the "donuts and coffee" cop stereotype? It confuses me just like the "lol blacks love chicken" stereotype. I've never known someone who doesn't love chicken. I'm pretty sure a lot of people enjoy donuts + coffee. I mean, there's a reason dunkin donuts made their gimmick coffee + donuts, and it wasn't cops.
>missed 1200 posts
time to skim and hope I catch the interesting discussion bits
>>3963385
Well, the blacks love chicken and watermelon thing stemmed from the fact that freed slaves raised chicken and grew watermelon, 'cause shit, that food's fine, why not?
There's probably a similiar reason for donuts and coffee. Coffee is very useful on patrol, and most places that sell coffee sell donuts, wihich can be eaten with one hand while you do other things, like use the radio.

>>3965619

>>3965833
At least you acknowledge buns are garbage.
I'm convinced this is some kind of reverse troll that hates Savage and is trying to get other people to hate him too. At the very least their idea of Savage content is rather narrow and dull.
Well it's not gonna work.
>>3965840
I like the way you think, anon.
Maybe I just find totally giving up control to somebody I trust so deeply to treat me well. That's why I like bondage so much, and the idea of Pastor is basically fancy mind-bondage.
>>3965845
Or Finnick.
I can just see Nick and Savage teaming up to Pastor their lovers, and high fiving each other.
>>3965875
I actually do quite like Savage.
I think people need to actually do things with him, though. The only stuff we have is all portrayals people hate. Nobody has tried to write a likeable Savage yet.
I mean, I'm guilty of the former, but you're supposed to hate the Savage I'm writing.
So I was on a transatlantic flight about a week or so back, with many, many long hours to kill, since I can never get a wink of sleep in that dry and dreary cabin atmosphere. In-Flight entertainment had plenty of movie selections of course, and after a bit of lazy browsing, I realized I hadn't actually bothered watching any of the James Bond movies starring Daniel Craig, save for Casino Royale back when it had been released. And hell, I had enjoyed Casino Royale and Craig's portrayal of a more gritty and emotionally involved James Bond; I just hadn't been in enough of a Bond mood to keep track of the movies ever since.
So I decided I'll start the Craig run fresh, but try to imagine it's a Jack Savage series throughout; Inject different mammals for different characters, try to imagine the action scenes as appropriately, and so on. It helped of course, that the Craig-Bond movies are all linked together in plot, and there's actual character development for Bond throughout, starting as a cold-blooded but relatively fresh '00' in Casino Royale, and slowly going through more and more hellish missions and situations that damage and whittle his spirit down, inch by inch.
I had more fun than I ought to, and now I'm stuck with that particular perception of Jack Savage in my head. If you haven't seen any of Craig's Bond movies in a while, I'd suggest giving it a try, just for the hell of it. The pre-credits opening scene of Casino Royale is fantastic as it is for introducing a whole new Bond, and imagining Savage in there instead made it far more entertaining.
All that said though, Judy is for Nick. WildeHopps is unsinkable.
>>3965902
People need to get rid of the super spy playboy shit and just make him a more practical plainclothes investigator or something. Make him grounded so there's no more setting dissonance, and gives him a reason to be interacting with the protags in a reasonable way.
I don't even give a shit about the shipping, people are really hamming up that angle bad though.
>>3965875
They have shit taste. They are of course entitled to their opinion, but I don't care about it.
>>3965965
Yeah. The James Bond angle is a bit too much. It makes him and any interactions he's in really bland.
>>3966024
Needs more Bob Howard from the Laundry Files (without the cthulhu mythos.)
An IT specialist who applies to field ops because he's bored.
No license to kill, but a license for Windoes. (even if he prefers gnunix)
>>3965965
Anything that makes him some kind of secret agent wont mesh with the rest of zootopia. Judy was the first rabbit officer, she was the one to prove that rabbits could be more. Having jack be this long before her undermines this.
I like the idea that Jack was some kind of pencil pusher in a government office. Seeing judy be an officer inspired him to try out for field work.
>>3966099
You seem to be confusing police for something else entirely. Investigators are not obligate officers.
>>3966118
Fine, I'll stick it on the list of stuff to write.
>>3965965
I think there is a need to strike a balance. Don't make him James Bond, but don't make him Sherlock Holmes or Dick Tracy either.
I feel that putting him above ZPD's jurisdiction would put him at reasonable odds with characters worth including in his world (ahem, Hopps. Wilde). A federal agent- not necessarily an international super spy though. From the ZIA or ZBI or something, if you will.
Knock him down from the original Indiana Jones concept and put him more on the level of.. I don't know.. Dale Cooper?
>>3965845
>Wildecest
You mean Judy Wilde and her fox son?
>>3961992
At least until they hijack the memorials to complain about how not as many people go to their protests.
>>3966153
How about careless and daring explorer from the Savage Seas? I fee he has no place to fit no matter what you do with him, because he'll always overshadow Carrots or Nick. Unless you're going for him as a protagonist, then it doesn't really matter what concept you have for him
>>3966201
Stop it anon, you're going to give people idea-
>Nick died in the line of duty, leaving Judy to raise their young children
>A motley of bunnies and foxes, with Rich, a fox as the eldest sibling
>Rich is a spitting image of his late father
>Judy misses Nick so much, she especially dotes over Rich
Fuck. Too late, anon. You've opened yet another new gate into hell for me.
>>3966251
Is overshadowing Hopps or Wilde really such a bad thing at this point?
Their story is over. They're beat cops and content with making their city a better place.
I don't see why having Jack cross paths with them during a federal case would be so terrible. It beats some of the completely non-canon OCs the fandom comes up with. At least he was a scrapped character like Honey.
>>3964897
parody pages are always nice
>>3966274

>>3966281
Listen man I don't care what you write about, but this OC bunny has more character than savage if you ask me.
After watching the movie I really don't see how they just go "lol no" on each other, but that's your opinion I mean whatever you can write about ottertons competing for the nudist elephant.
If think nothing personnel tier sikrit spy is a good ship, yeah whatever it's not like there haven't been much more bizarre ships explored here, just don't act surprised when someone calls it out as borIng

>>3966251
>>3966153
>>3965917 Here. I should note that while I enjoyed the thought experiment of Savage-as-Craig-Bond, I'm also well aware that a super-spy Savage really would be on a whole different level than Judy & Nick; Trying to merge their stories would be a messy road to navigate, and probably feel a little forced. I for one preferred to think of Savage as an entirely different story, taking place in other parts of the Zootopia world, with no connection to the stories of Wilde and Hopps.
If you absolutely had to bring them all together, than dialing Savage back down to something a little less amazing really would make the entire arrangement a whole lot easier to digest.

I swear to god every time this argument comes up about invalidating Judy's accomplishments and it never makes sense. Judy is a cop, Jack would be an agent. They're two different jobs, one of which requires some degree of secrecy to begin with. Jack being a more veteran agent does nothing to harm Judy.

The issue is a meta one, not an in-universe inconsistency. From the audience's perspective, Judy's story is a classic underdog tale; A small but brave character, striving to achieve something that was thought to be impossible for her class/species; To become the first of her kind to get across a line that's supposed to be far beyond the range and reach of her class, as far as the world was concerned. We watch her fight tooth and nail to become an accomplished, rightfully recognized police officer, in defiance of the prejudice that bunnies are too small, too weak, too cowardly and too insulated to ever take up a career that demands the exact opposite of their supposed nature.
So after all Judy has achieved in the first film, Jack Savage can't just be introduced out of the blue as a superspy, or a government field agent of some kind, without the exact nature of his work carefully toned-down to not overshadow Judy's accomplishments. Otherwise, to the audience, it inevitably diminishes what Judy had achieved after all the drama and tension of the first movie. An accomplished bunny spy had already demonstrated immense bravery and brains, and broke through the figurative grass-ceiling long before Judy did? Suddenly her accomplishments look small and petty compared to Savage's; This could arguably make an interesting hook for a plot-line or drama, but only at the cost of retroactively declaring that Judy hasn't actually done anything that unique or noteworthy. Nobody wants to see that happen to Judy.

What are you talking about? Judy's accomplishments consisted of one montage, the rest of the film was just getting other mammals to see that she was as capable as she was. Even then, the whole point was her proving that anyone can do anything, as in all bunnies could be like her if they wanted, not that she was some freak outlier. Her accomplishments that mattered in the movie had nothing to do with her police work, the more important part was seeing her grow as a person and get over the prejudices she didn't even know that she had.
I still don't understand your point, unless you're coming from the original idea that all bunnies are weak and useless and only Judy has the ability to be a cop because of her dream of doing do, which is stupid.
