Slavery likely existed in antiquity in the way it did in the real world, and mostly used by taking defeated enemies and making them work the land, or other long term and boring agricultural tasks. Which is a fucking awful eyesore. The speaker changes three times. First is Anneke, then it changes to Wolter, then the twins in unison, then it changes to just Remmy. That's hard to follow in a single chunk. So what you do is you break it up, so instead you have
