I made a 101 Dalmatians thread on /co/ last night, and while the archive says it had the bumps to survive the night, it clearly didn't. I'm thinking they set it to sage or something. Maybe /trash/ will be more appreciative of the franchise - more specifically, the animated series. It really wasn't that bad, as it had some good animation in a number of episodes and Cadpig was a really fun character. I uploaded a number of clips and could make more if people are interested in them.
Anybody want to talk about the show and/or its characters? Or you can just post art, as trash is wont to do. I'm fine with that. I'd just like for the show to get some love.

Cadpig's whole shtick was being extremely manipulative. She talks peace and harmony, but just wanted to control everybody and tell them how to live their lives. That was touched on in a number of episodes. I thought it worked for her.

You may be content with people turning /trash/ into /co/ 2.0, but most people aren't. There doesn't need to be a thread for every goddamn cartoon here. I made this thread because its life on /co/ was cut short due to a janitor, and /trash/ is a safe haven for that sort of thing.

And I was talking about your /co/ threads. You try so hard to make them seem like there's gonna be some serious discussion in them when all you really want is to casually talk about a cartoon (and maybe fug the dog). And that's fine, most topics are just that. It's not like people don't like the show but you should just appeal to the nostalgic aspect of it instead of pretending it can be relevant today. Don't try so hard. I know you miss those two weeks but you can't force them to happen again.
Also, people /co/ are getting real tired of the waifufags, specially the mods. Next time, start a thread with Spot or Cruella in the OP image because Cadpig just sets off all sorts of alarms.

Cadpig is a farm term for runt - allegedly. It was the name Dodie Smith used in her original book. Walt Disney decided not to put her in the animated movie, but that's okay. Dodie Smith made Cadpig the main character in the sequel that deals with a aliens.
