I wrote a thing. It's lewd. A little. It's not good lewd, but I personally believed I nailed it on the comfy.
Would love feedback.

Prompt was Judy and Nick snowed in at a cabin in Tundratown
Enjoy, or something

its shit stop
>>2801257
Fuck off with that, please. it's misspelled so it doesn't come up in searches properly. We moved away from it for the last thread for the same reason. Don't be dumb.
>>2801294
Just fucking ignore it, it will disappear eventually. Were not migrating no matter how much people bitch.
so did anyone roll a mouse bc we need more qt mice girls
>>2801346
No, but keep going anyways.
Well I think I'm giving up on Bernielover
>>2801373
Why's that? Never read their stuff so no idea what you're talking about.
>>2801373
>she makes Bogo have a cute chubby daughter
>immediately ships her with her stupid hyena
why must she hurt us in such ways?
>>2801346
>girls
wishful thinking.
>>2801373
I'm a bit new to these threads, but I've seen this name pop up a couple times. That's a drawfag, right? Is there a link to their stuff?
>>2801207
D-don't remind me.
>>2801396
for you and anyone else new:
she's called bernielover because bert+ernie
not politics, she's just into dudes fucking dudes
>>2801389
It started off pretty good. Funny writing, even if the art was just alright and the sexy wasn't that sexy
But then there was a really long Judy pregnancy arc which wasn't that interesting. But whatever, everyone is allowed a mulligan.
But then after that arc, she started using this Hyena OC whose main traits were basically shes super strong and shes a dickgirl because hyenas.
And said OC has basically been dominating the comics ever since being introduced. Even got unsexy porn before my favorite characters, the wolves, did
>>2801423
I actually didn't know that, but that makes much more sense.
>>2801425
>Even got unsexy porn before my favorite characters, the wolves, did
And not to forget, those two recent wolf comics were commissions.
>>2801425
>shes a dickgirl because hyenas
I fucking hate this trope.
Any time you see a hyena girl anywhere it's for dickgirl shit. And in the rare exception it's not (or isn't yet) immediately every single viewer will chime in YOU KNOW THEY HAVE DICKS RIGHT? IS SHE A DICKGIRL? SHE SHOULD BE A DICKGIRL!
pseudopenis was a mistake
nicks dick
>>2801392
>wishful thinking.
there were at like 4 girls in the poll irc
>>2801346
Not a grill but I got a pangolin.
>>2801462
Thats what really cuts. If it werent for someone else paying for it, it probably never would have happened
>>2801485
absolutely adorable
>>2801465
I like the psudopenis thing but I get where you're coming from. It wouldn't be so bad if people weren't ravenous about it on both sides.
>>2801470
>that filename
you're already drawing porn of her, aren't you.
CHRIST I thought you guys were kidding, it really is nothing but Hyena dickgirl lately. I just checked the gallery and we had a bunch of one-offs with her, that whole intro series, the date series, and now a bunch of her flirting with Bogo's daughter.
Rule of furry/fangirl/Bernielover: Any time someone with a minority fetish/sexual orientation hits on someone they'll find a perfect match. No gay woman will ever fall for another woman only to be rejected because the object of their desire is straight.
>>2801470
6, as I recall.
One of 'ems already a bunny tho.
Grizzly anon here, got some free time, gonna try and draw traditional. Any requests? Not too complex if you please.
>>2801499
They really are.
>>2801550
That doesn't even seem real. Looks like a sculpture more than an animal
thats cute as hell
>>2801469
me too
>>2801543
Nick going to a Powerline concert and getting way too excited.
>>2801506
I just wish that ONCE we could have a savage/amazonian/badass/butch/masculine Hyena chick that didn't also have a dick. But it seems like the dick is the only aspect that draws most people, while I'm more interested in the strength/size/power dynamics. I like her intimidating Nick and the other cops, but apparently that's all tangential to the main point, which is, again, DICKGIRL.
>>2801534
okay but what is this gallery of which you speak
I need to investigate this alleged dickgirl porn for scientific purposes
>>2801581
Just go on e621.
>>2801581
literally just google "bernielover"
>>2801543
Judy getting zapped by a shock collar and loving it.
>>2801515
pshhhh
pshhhhhhhhh
nooo
>>2801641
It's extreme hotglueing, isn't it.
>>2801576
Even without the dickgirl aspect, I just don't care for her that much.
And I could get over that except shes completely dominated Bernie's work the past week or so. Thats what grates me the most
>>2801659
Seems more of a mexican sugar dancing kinda guy to me
>>2801233
check em
>>2801671
>Even without the dickgirl aspect, I just don't care for her that much.
I don't either but that's because I think Bernielover is a weak writer.
>>2801233
whoooooaaaaa momma
>>2801692
WHOA MOMMA
>>2801680
what? It's objectively one of the hottest fetishes with mice.
>>2801711
Honestly her writing WAS one of the reasons i kept up with her comics.
But for whatever reason, the hyena is just super bland. I mean the wolves were basically OC since its not like they had any personalities in the movie as they didn't say anything. But they were great
i think i may have gone overboard with the tail...but oh well. having fun with the bold outlines.
>>2801757
>But for whatever reason, the hyena is just super bland.
Because her entire character is "I'm strong and have a penis". That's literally all there is.
>>2801845
And she hits on everyone.
>>2801576
I really like all those things you listed, the dickgirl thing is just icing on the cake for me. Then again I browse /d/ almost as much as this board now.
>>2801866
Pleb-tier fetish, anon.
>>2801836
Oh, oh my.
>>2801887
Hey, I browse /d/ for more than just futas anon.
are we split?
Would any drawfriends be willing to do a comic of Judy and Nick doing the spaghetti kiss thing from lady and the tramp?
>>2801836
You best be continuing that.
>>2801836
I'm calm
I can appreciate good art without thinking too hard about the subject matter
>>2801917
No, the other thread is being image-dumped to get everyone over here.
>>2801925
part one of three is the plan
>>2801757
I don't mind people sticking their OCs into fanfiction. But when you have an OC interacting with an OC, then it's just regular furry shit.
>Only 22 posters
This feels weirdly intimate
>>2802018
everyone else is busy shitposting the other thread to image limit
>>2802018
Are you afraid of a little intimacy anon.
>>2802018
I think everyone's been scared off by the recent shitstorms man
>>2801947
Excellente.
>>2801947

>>2802063

It's just weird being in a zootopia thread with -30 people

She's cute

>>2802196
>>2802160
I prefer a dress'em up.
>>2802160
Well, you already had my idea for the arm wrestling game. I figured that'd be the easiest to do. It'd only really have the two routes, though. Judy on top (player win) or Nick on top (player lose).
Knotting would have to happen regardless.
>>2802204
Why is it sideways?
new thread let's review for the new scene. Cutie found herself a gentlemanly older hopping mouse.

You forgot the 'catch the speeder' racer.
Or just don't want to do it which is fine.
>>2802240
the original posting and a few other by weaver and chumpy were posted sideways, so now people post it like that as a joke I guess
>>2802196
>>2802204
FUCK
>>2802305
Its a little distressing that its common enough to have a genre name IMO
There, shitty "secret" thread is dead so now the awful in group can be elitist here instead of there.

Ahh fuck it, you guys can rotate that shit yourself, I can't figure for the life of me why my phone is uploading it rotated like that.
>>2802355
English isn't your first language is it
>>2802337
Ah. Well, I mean, you could still make the arm wrestling contest be SFW. Nick wins a month's supply of blueberries, Judy gets to use Nick as a pack mule for her shopping trips.
>>2802337
That'd be cool. I'd dig a funny walkaround too, with Judy being all "LOOK HOW GREAT ZOOTOPIA IS!!" and Nick being a cynical wag.
Mostly because bickering narrators is funny.
>>2802350
Well shit, a new fetish to add to the list.
There really is an ingroup kik chat. Well these threads are marked for death then. Seen it before. Nothing good can come from this.
>>2802365
It was Fangmeyer, he's not allowed to be infatuated with large female predators
>>2802392
it was Zoot, We were trying to tell him how to rotate it, and instead he kept taking pictures at different sides
>>2802381
i know my grammar is terrible
>>2802414
Yep yep. First a thread split, then an in group kik chat. These are death throes, friends.
>>2802411
that gives me the warm fuzzies knowing I helped you discover a fetish anon
>>2802355
You ok there anon?
>>2802414
Tell me, what ISNT causing these threads death exactly?
This past week I've seen literally nothing but doomposting this past week.
>>2802272
>I always thought you were one of the regulars desu
Lol no. I just showed up 2 weeks ago and haven't left
I'm kinda getting a homo nick and finnick vibe from you.
But I'll do whatever you want.
Uhh, drawing that is..
>>2802324
just crop it a tiny bit buddy
>>2802414
What is kik?
Why can't we all just chill here instead of trying to get our own place like Muslims or some crap.
>>2802473
Because this past week has spelled nothing but doom?
Anyways, I dunno what else we doomposted about besides thread splitting and IRCs. In-group IRCs just rip communities to shreds. I've seen it before, and I'll see it again.
>>2802484
You got a nice style, drawfriend.
>>2802484
i like the lame hyena comedian.
>>2802454
yes why ?
>>2802494
At this point I'm tempted to just throw up a Discord and try to beat them to the punch.
>>2802391
ill make a sfw option for that haha
so does anyone know how long a stawpoll poll stays up? ill check it tomorrow morning but right now looks like ZDP walkthroughs winning folks
And with that, a good night
>>2802512
how does THAT help
I can't believe Weaver's dead.
>>2802512
This is some apocalypse movie shit. We build our own little society and these threads die, then some guys from /co/ or whatever make their own and are never aware of our existence. We just have our own little shithole to be fags in.
Question /trash/, would Judy get off more from having her own feet rubbed, or from rubbing Nick's feet?
>>2802484
>Lol no. I just showed up 2 weeks ago and haven't left
Well you fit in nicely I suppose.
>I'm kinda getting a homo nick and finnick vibe from you.
>But I'll do whatever you want.
Actually, homo Gideon.
But, would you mind drawing my zoot OC? I have a ref image here.
>>2802438
It won't be actual doom. It'll just shift into an abomination that is unwelcomed or wanted.
>>2802473
Look all I can say, last time I was around a general that had a distrust between "Oh so mighty elitists (non-autistic retards who happened to become friends)" and the anons of said general. It went down hill by a lot till eventually it just died out.
>>2802494
Instant-messanger app. Think skype, or steam.
>>2802427
Ya... I fucked up pretty big on that one..
Deleted the post 3 times and then 4chan wouldn't let me delta anymore.
It was this one.
>Scanned, cropped, and oriented this time.

>>2802544
I wish he at least finished the loli comic before he buggered off from this fandom like so many others.
>>2802414
What is the kik information?
>>2802564
Her own. She has big soft feet.
>>2802570
So people were chilling and being friends and people got mad at them for being chill?
Anyways, the only schism I support is separating RP into a new thread, and that's just because I don't like when thread based drama gets in the way of my comfy RP times.
Trying again. If this don't work I'm ending it all.
>>2802605
That's pretty much the gist of it, yeah. Things were fine until people started spamming shit and being assholes to each other. It completely ruined the mood and started all this shit.
>>2802605
It's a little more involved than that you fucking faggot.
>>2802544
>Everyone left to the kik
>the post tons of OC there and chill
>only a few nonshitters are left in the ruins of /ztg/
>we were left behind when the ships sailed, never to be seen again.
>>2802605
Well, if those people who were chilling were namefags who only recycled content instead of producing it, and people got mad at them for only interacting with eachother while they continued to waste images on recycled content, and now they've formed an ingroup but continue to insulate themselves within the thread proper, sure. Nail on the head.
>>2802588
i'm literally drawing it as we speak
Hey everyone, checking in for the first time. How's everyone doing?

So you want your otter and gaydian?
>>2802605
It was a Civil War.
>>2802654
no weaver is kill
rip in peace
he will be remembered
>>2802654
I hope that you're the real weaver, we could use some positive spirit in these threads
>>2802651
How do you know they don't simply like each other and continue to post here without namefagging?
I am making no progress on writing my own fic. Figure I might try taking a quick writing request, anyone with ideas? (lewd or not, both fine)
Well then. I got here about a week or two ago enjoying all the content and conversations.
Now everyone is going to Kik. I don't have Kik or know how to use it.
I guess it's just time for me to pack up.
Certainly a shitty way to end it.
>>2802654
Oh my.
>>2802661
Its the end of the world I guess.
>>2802661
Apparently all is lost because like all things we are slowing down and things are going downhill from here
Can we agree to never thread split again, especially over such a stupid reason? If somebody is shitting on you or your friends for namefagging, just nut up and keep posting. This is fucking 4chan, if shitposting gets you mad go elsewhere
>>2802651
This
What the fuck is a kik
>>2802634
Did the rping piss them off that much?
>>2802654
I know you are but they like to pretend so that's what they'll do.
>>2802544
shit nigga it hasn't even been 24 hours
weaver has a life, you know. friends, family, kids, a job, he's pretty fucking busy and you should be glad he sets aside an hour a day to shitpost here
>>2802654
>Judy isn't willing to kiss the little cat
>is going to end up with a dick in at least one hole by the end of the comic

>>2802548

>>2802702
That sucks, now where will I got to get minimal attention on my art?
>>2802685
>tfw mostly ignored
>people will never hope for your return

>more posts talking about weaver than response to your art
>>2802661
Same as last time. How are you doing anon?
I want Gazelle to give me a lapdance.
>>2802719
>If they've stopped namefagging, they can do what they like. If you aren't namefagging, your elitism can't translate into the thread, so why should I give a shit?
Exactly. I'm just saying that if they have started a group chat, it isn't necessarily the end of the world. I've met people in these threads that I like too and started chats with them. We haven't become elitists.
>>2802667
Ooh I needed something to read. Thanks anon.
>>2802729
just keep posting here, we need the life, and personally I love to see new art
>>2802689
>everyone
it's literally just three faggots. Let them be faggots in peace and ignore them, fuck.
>>2802742
It's just a matter of losing anonymity tending to be problematic. There's users I tend to recognize, especially when I'm RPing, and I'd love to keep in touch with them when ztg has run its course, but until then I like my anonymity too much.
>>2802730
Who are you? Again, any and all art I love, so please post it.
>>2802719
It just feels really weird with splinter threads getting made, then the kik situation. I enjoy the lump sum of these threads ranging from chill/comfy to porn dumps.
>>2802687

>>2802785
I too lurk, Anon. I'm an Anon from the surge of the OCs.

Is anyone else going to Megacon?
Reason why I ask is because Im expecting a large amount of Zootopia cosplayers.
>hoping of finding a qt pi 3.14 coslaying as Bellwether.
tfw everybody's too busy bitching at eachother to look at the fic you've shilled in two different threads now.
Y'all got any more of those (you)'s?
>>2802661
Bummed, Anon, but otherwise ok.
>>2802730
I don't post much but I guarantee I enjoyed it if you posted oc. I'm sick of all the reposts, I like all of it. Post more please.
It's just that weaver is basically like a mythical godlike figure to me, if he started a cult I'd shave my head and cut off my balls straightaway. So like, you can't compete with that, but don't feel bad.
How about instead of complaining about how the thread is dying actually post something worth reading. The world deserves these threads
>>2802776
I know what you mean, but let's give it time. If they act like cunts in the future, then yeah, that sucks. If they don't, then let them have their group chat. I don't see why them knowing each other outside the thread needs to be that big a deal.
>>2802786
I hope that on the bluray we get to see a deleted scene of her and Nick on a friend date or whatever, and she's wearing a dress

>>2802730
Well you have some options, anon
You can get really fucking good and post all the fucking time and host beloved quests
You can get moderately good, SIGN IT, and draw the other drawfriends oc's
You can resign to your fate as an anon in a sea of anons
Or lastly you can whinge on about being not as popular as fucking weaver
Don't take this is an insult or as aggressive, we all feel it from time to time. But you gotta git gud
>>2802820
I would but thats the same date as the Liberterian Party convention. Also I'm hundreds of miles away.
>>2802849
Speaking of which, is the anon in charge of the pastebin around? It hasn't been updated in forever.
>>2801499
But a huge pain to draw. So many scales.
>>2802873
Why go for WildeHoppes when we can see young Judy get gangbanged by a bunch of neighborhood kids?
>>2802729
>>2802730
I know people like to come here for the porn and OC and other things and I don't blame them a bit as I used to do that too, but now I want to improve myself and the people here are so nice and helpful. Its easy just to post a picture of my work and get at least a single reply on how to improve. However it makes me really sad because if all the artists leave and all that is left are the people who want things, there is no one left to make anything. We will only have what was made and what can be found elsewhere. It will suck for all the good artists, who I almost burn with envy for their talent and skill, just vanish. Every time someone post something they made I study it for how I can try and adopt to be better like them. It would really suck for that to be gone.
I really like this place guys. Can't we all just get along?
gonna go finish off my chicken wings and then I'll be back to finish those fit girl drawings.
Any good workout poses that would be a great muscle study?
>>2802654
So what exactly is going on? The group of hormonal barely-legal teens are only NOW becoming curious and bashful about each others' bodies? That honestly happened at 13 for me.
>>2802818
Hey anon I am anon as well. I will never leave. I am only lightening up on posting anything. Taking up no image limit so that there is no problem to be addressed at me. I'll stick to fanfics.
Ignore faggots, post good art.
>>2802885
I will refrain from posting my art just because I don't want to cause too much trouble but to be honest, Weaver isn't that good. I don't have a high opinion of my self but in most things, even I excel beyond weaver. I also do all of those things but people will choke on the pony faggots dick constantly either way.
>>2802822
Was this the one (you) shilled?

If so, I read it earlier and enjoyed it.
If not, could (you) post it again so I can procrastinate on my last final longer?

>>2802884
Yeah I hope so man, I've been told the threads can get like that, and when I checked in in the past they seemed real nice.
Also thanks :P I've been thinking about it for a while and finally just broke down tonight and bought them. The'll be my first "Zootopia Merch" per say.
>>2802661
Hey Anon, pretty good and you?
>>2802953
I'm the writer of that
I shilled it in both these threads and only one or two have replied
It's fine though. I'm just putting it up so you guys have it.
I don't care about the (you)'s.

Notice how I didn't mention weaver's art quality.
Weaver goes for speed, and his art has a certain charm to it. He's also better than he lets on, but that's beside the point. It isn't just the quality of the art, but definitely the content, and the spirit behind it. Weaver is popular for a reason, he's worked hard for his reputation here.

He worked before but now he doesn't have to try. Maybe I don't capture that magical thing he does, maybe I don't pander enough, maybe I am just a shitty artist but I can't help feeling irritated when I spend entire days working on art for the thread and no one gives a shit. Yet Weaver could doodle a pile of shit and people would be all around it, dancing and singing his praises.
I don't know him enough personally and maybe it's petty of me and yes, I am bitter. But I work super hard and no one but a few anons ever see it. I dedicate a huge portion of my time to improving my art. I guess it doesn't show.

If you're frustrated at not getting enough attention, that's one thing, and there are methods of recourse for that, but to then immediately turn to lashing out and smearing someone else who gets more attention than you is a pretty meanspirited thing to do, anon. I get that you think you're better than him and therefore deserve more (You)s but attacking him isn't the way to go -- and neither is criticizing the taste of the people comprising those (You)s.
At best it comes off as some cruel jealousy and at worst a spiteful temper-tantrum.

Hey guys, I'm not Weaver, but I feel like I can speak for him in this regard..
The more you beg him to draw your fursona, the more likely he is to walk away all together.
Drawing is fun, drawing for other people is ever better!
But when you're constantly bombarded with request after request for bullshit rolled animals it gets a little trying.
I'm not saying he won't draw your fursona, but maybe ask him nicely, give him a compliment, or maybe share some of your work with him.
Love you, Weaver.

Yes, that's what happens when you are a popular artist. Generally you work very hard to get to your popularity level, then you can do whatever. However art still takes effort at any level, which you should know.
A simple weaver comment is going to get more replies than a comic I worked six hours on. I've accepted that, and you should too.
Also I'm really curious about your art. If you're really that good, you shouldn't be as neglected as you're saying. I've seen some pretty new/out of practice artists get a fair amount of (You)s.

Oh I didn't really mean the hiatus, I meant more that there was discussion for maybe half a thread and then people stopped talking about it entirely.
I think that it'll survive it's hiatus. The artist clearly looks like he's going somewhere with the story and with the amount of work he's put into it so far I couldn't see him just dropping it now. I think it'll end when he finishes up his story. I don't know if he'll follow up with something else after though.

If you've been around enough, you'd know that--and it isn't his fault personally--that people literally do get ignored because of Weaver. His popularity is just so huge it eclipses a lot of lower ones. I don't think I'm better than him in general, but I do know that in some technical senses (at least in regard to his common posting style) I am. Now, I still think he's better overall.

Ahh, finally home from work
How goes it gents, and possibly ladies?
>>2803467
I'm not saying it's right or fair, but on the other hand, Weaver's strength seems to lie in his concepts much more than in his actual art. Given how many things he's come up with that people have latched onto, a comment might get a lot of response for that reason. If he'd only written about Shepard instead of drawing them, it wouldn't have made such a splash, but I think it still would have gotten a lot of recognition because it's a solid idea.

>>2802964
If you're so unhappy then you probably need to be more honest with yourself.
Let go of your inhibitions and domestication. If you're really that depressed what's the most you can lose? You can end up in a situation worse than you are now, but you could also end up somewhere better.
Betrayal is the greatest sin of all, reserved for the deepest layer of hell I personally believe betrayal of your self is the ultimate crime.
If you are a saint, live as a saint.
If you are a rabid beast, live as a rabid beast.
The possibility of death and pain are ever present, but ultimately do you want a slow dragged out death where you killed yourself from the inside out until you're an aged husk that might as well be hollowed out inside, or to die fast, consumed in whatever passion you have.
>>2803349
Seen it before, but Judy eating ice cream is still worth a d'aww.
>>2803341
Sorry, you misunderstand- suicide is not my answer. But that's because I don't want to end my life, it's because I CAN'T end my life. If I did I would hurt the people around me and as much as I hate myself I don't know what I would do if I ever intentionally hurt the people I love. And yes I know that that makes little sense, since I would be dead (I'm not religious so no afterlife) and wouldn't have to worry about feeling like even worse than the scum of the earth, but despite that 'sound logic' I simply don't consider suicide an option. If everyone I knew suddenly collectively either died or dropped contact with me then yeah I'd probably off myself as soon as I figured out a quick and easy way to do it, but until that day happens (hopefully never) I'm just going to keep on riding this piece of shit until I crash, but not because I swerved into a tree intentionally.
So I guess my answer to life is "NOTHING REALLY MATTERS IN THE END SO WHY BOTHER WORRYING ABOUT IT? WE MAY HAVE PASSED THE POINT WHERE WE CLEARLY SHOULD HAVE STOPPED BUT LET'S KEEP GOING AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!" Or something like that.
>>2803531

>>2803518
>If he'd only written about Shepard instead of drawing them, it wouldn't have made such a splash, but I think it still would have gotten a lot of recognition because it's a solid idea.
That's because of what the people who come to these threads want to consume.
A writefag is going to get a handful of (you)s IF THEY'RE LUCKY. That's because people don't read as much as they look at pictures. And screw them if the tone, setting, characterization, or themes aren't exactly what everyone else is looking for-- maybe everyone on the thread responds to comfy comics or images, but they might not read writefaggotry, and your story about comfy comfy comfy won't peek the interest to those who want serious serious serious, who ALSO MIGHT JUST NOT COMMENT.
Thread dynamics are not perfect information. Just do shit that makes you happy-- write, draw, shitpost, or image dump, but if you think someone else is stopping you from being able to enjoy the thread, that's just weird cause its EVERYONE whose not commenting on your shit.

The life of a writefag is fucking miserable in these threads, can confirm. You need to shill more to get even less than drawfag.
I don't even need some in depth critique, I just like hearing that somebody got some sort of kick out of it, or even that they didn't like it just knowing they gave it a chance was enough.
All I have to go on is the views on the pastebin itself as some measure. Is it that hard to toss a (you) if you read the damn thing?
>>2803532
I can see the ears have some smooth lines but the chin still seems frayed. You should try some more asymmetry to make your poses more dynamic.
Its a fun look and he looks really excited which makes me not want to be as brutal. But I am gunna be a bit. Like for me the ears are weird, the left ear is bigger than the right. As well while the outline of the neck is super fluffy, the jabby lines around it seems to put me off like he was just shaven.
Help?
Still cute though. I love this expression.
>>2803621
While its not good motivation to only draw for attention, it certainly helps to get some replies to show someone cares! Criticism is nice too.
>>2803481
How the hell
>>2803483
Awesome! It's nice to see that pic made it to you. I reposted it a bunch of times but I wasn't sure if you ever saw it until now.
>>2803594
Well, a big part of that is also that writing is more time-intensive to consume. A picture takes a few seconds to glance at, a comic maybe a few more. A fic of modest length will need a lot longer, it becomes an investment. Without a visual medium the strength of characterization and plot is all that's left to carry it, so it needs to be that much stronger to compensate. And I'd say the threshold for writing is a bit higher, in that a 'badly drawn' picture can still be enjoyed depending, but a 'badly written' fic is garbage no matter what.
>>2803486
Anon if it makes you feel any better, I save a lot of photos and even if I'm not giving the (You)s, it doesn't mean you're work doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated. I like any oc of any kind and I'm probably not the only one. Weaver can get like 30 replies all saying good job or just reaction Images, but don't you think it would be better to get the 1 or 2 replies that actually try to give you some form of criticism to help you improve? Anyway just know that your work is always appreciated and always loved. Just try and do you and all will be fine.
>reading a fic
>Shit gets dark
>Like "Bonnie gets injected with Nighthowler serum, rips her young son's throat out, then gets killed eat eaten by Nick under the effects of a similar serum" dark
>One or two chapters later theres a quirky special ops squad introduced named after members of the A Team
God damn it. Is tone consistency really THAT hard to maintain.
>>2803655
the unfortunate reality is that maybe people dont care
also youre not gonna get any worthwhile criticism from people on a furry porn board

Then again, you might come into the thread after having a nice day, see your story mentioned followed by four posts about how much it SUCKS and spend the rest of the evening wanting to gargle bleach.
Count your blessings.

Thanks for the (You) feeding my addiction!
The comfort dynamic was one of the things people seemed most interested in when I was spitballing ideas for this.
And yeah, I am in agreement Nick's plan was a bit convoluted, but I needed it to happen because I needed them in the right place at the right time.
The beer was fucking dumb though, I think.

>>2803475
I'll probably end up doing half chapters posted aside the main fic when I get to lewd segments.
Or I'll do "what if" situations in that fic as lewd one shots.
Like if Jack got his way.
Or Nick got handsy over night.

All an artist wants to know is that their work reached someone.
It doesn't matter your reaction to it as long as it excites one!
So if a picture makes you smile, or get angry, or cry, or get horny, all they want to know is that someone saw it.
>>2803651
Yep that one is an older model. I know the ears are wacko but you reach a point on pencil you can't do much erasing without making a huge mess. The neck was meant to look disheveled and messed up to match the wide eyes, creepy grin, and baggy shadows in a "I haven't slept in five days" look. Hence the file name!

>>2803646
I feel awkward putting a reply hours after what I'm replying to. It's like I'm messing up the flow.
Just know that the single fic I haven't liked reading was one that had all the characters act really dark and needlessly violent.
>>2803722
It'd be purely for experimental purposes.
I want to get all different genres under my belt, grimdark is one of them.
And it could also be an aftermath.
>>2803593
Okay so, police is way harder to get into than what I'm doing. Plus I am in Canada, not the US, so I don't know their standards.
All I needed was a college degree in a relevant field (Environmental and Wildlife Management was mine, although we've got Criminal Justice guys, various bio degrees, one guy argues his way in on a sociology degree). Plus passing a psych evaluation, and running a PARE test (a Canadian fitness test) in under 4:45. In addition, I did a 16 week intensive Conservation Enforcement program at a police academy. The province I am in gives an additional two weeks of training, but once you're in that, you're basically hired. They do their best not to lose anyone at that point.
Our year didn't lose anyone in the CE academy program, but we came damn close to having someone not meet the physical requirements by the end of the program. He snuck by with I think a half percent to spare, so it is definitely possible to fail out of.
>>2803688
Aye, i'd honestly say if your happy with the results throw yourself up onto a more permanent and feedback friendly location. Never hurts to put yourself out there!

Because she had the misfortune of being written by me, apparently.

Grimdark can be good surprisingly or not.
But I don't think a story about a daterape, like specifically about what happened during the event, is worth writing.

Why does everyone assume suicide is the default answer to not having a purpose in life? I've got clinical depression, My body rejects antidepressants, I spend lots of time contemplating the value of life, I couldn't hold on to hobbies so I stopped trying them, Wasn't happy with relationships so I stopped dating, Didn't enjoy going out with friends so I stopped calling them, and they're all so sure that I'm going to snap and off myself.
Just because someone's not willing to force themselves to do things they don't enjoy doesn't mean that they're going to off themselves. Death is a contract that you don't get to read, Could be a million times shittier than life is. To be honest the lewd factor isn't what has peak my interest, but thanks for the honesty!
As I said, you took a few fun different angles here that tend to lead to stories that REALLY stick out in my mind. I have a soft spot in my heart for anti-tropes in stories that do it well. Sex is fun and all, but its the moments of interaction between characters that really make a work sing.

>>2803832
This. I'm so happy about what these threads have evolved from. They literally went from just porn dumps to actual discussion and oc. I think that finals have been putting a lot of pressure on a lot of content creators and anons a like and that can probably be seen in all the shit posting going on in the past literally 2 days. Even for people who aren't taking classes, the lack of just general discussion and oc do to others being bogged down is taking affect on the quality of these threads. I feel as soon ass finals are over, we will have a jump in quality again, and when the blueray comes out, maybe even more. As long as we stop trying to be assholes and just be friends and have fun, we'll be fine.
>>2803845
>Try not to take it too harshly. Take their criticisms and use it to improve. Unless their critique wasn't constructive.
Yeah, that's what I'm telling myself. This place is a double-edged sword: you want honesty in a piece of criticism? You've got it -- whether you liked it or not.
I think Judy would want me to keep going.
>>2803880
Do you think Judy has ever fired her gun in the air at a fleeing suspect who happens to be someone close to her?

I'd be more sympathetic if he even made the attempt at listening to feedback.
Like a thread full of people said, "Everyone feels OC, Bogo feels like a crazy person instead of the tough but honestly caring boss he was in the film." and his response was to double down on it. If that's what he wants to write fine, but I think its a little dishonest of the dude to go, "Woe is me no one likes my work I'd better kill myself!".
Like you do not have to listen to every piece of feedback, some people are idiots or just hate your concept but as a writer you should also be open to the idea that maybe what you want to do with these characters is not going to work with the scenario you've crafted.

Police definitely requires at least a college degree, generally in a specifically police-oriented field, instead of a more broad "related field." Plus the physical requirements are more strict.
To put it into perspective, the academy I went to for the extra push has four programs. The police program is their biggest, usually getting 90-100 students each year. About a third drop for one reason or another.
>>2803893
I generally write off prompts, so don't expect interesting character dynamics all the time. It just happened this time.
But I think I'm just trying to talk down my own ego at this point. It's a problem I have.

Lot's of people end up settling.
They settle for something because they feel they have responsibilities and obligations they must fulfill. That they end up stuck in jobs or roles because they're doing either what people expect of them or what they feel is safer.
You have to be willing to risk a lot to gain a lot. Let's say that you rent an apartment and that you're basically killing yourself slowly to keep it because you;re afraid of not having a roof over your head. Then take a risk for another job or ditch the apartment.
Find somewhere cheaper, find someone you can live with, hell look up some local churches or homeless shelters and figure out if you can stay there while you figure shit out. If you have to roll down to the bottom to find your way up then do it.
There are always people who'll either be suckers for someone down on their luck turning everything around or who genuinely want to help people.
You've got one life, you've gotta make yourself the main character in it. Otherwise you'll end up as a fucking bit part in some other story.
You want to be the rising star or the tragic hero? Or do you wanna be "Man who MC bought penuts from"
Changed per your request
"Look Judy if you asked sooner I would have said yes but. I mean you're cool and all... I'm seeing someone already. okay?"
Judy didn't stay to hear the rest. She ran off tears welling in her eyes. She felt so immature running off but she couldn't think of anything else to do. Nick hated her. For years officer Hopps had waited for the courage to ask him to date her and he had someone all along.
She had already taken the whole week off to spend with her beloved center of the universe. But his heart was stolen by some floozy bitch. Probably some fox whore with diseases by he dozen.
She would have to win back his heart. But how..?
Four days and more wine than she was proud of had passed and now she had her plan. Tomorrow was Saturday and nick would be off work she would follow him from the shadows and find the whore and assess her weaknesses. That she would strike proving once and for all that Nick was for her .
Self insert incoming
>>2803858
I don't know about happy endings being a necessity, but I would certainly prefer it. I think your second point is stronger; there has to be a reason for it, there has to be a point or growth. That's what makes it worth it.
I'd rather remember a sad fic where Nick and Judy see a really horrific crime/accident and have to deal with it and become closer because of it, rather than just everything falling apart and things get worse and worse and nothing is gained.
>>2803974
That shit sucks. I've not gotten feedback for lots of stuff I've written, and I'm writing to be a better writer. I WANT to know where my stuff gets dropped, where people roll their eyes, and where people start laughing at how shitty it all is.
Maybe not everyone has the best criticism that you have to follow to a T, but shouting at the people who are giving you opinions is just...
I don't know, maybe its just because I've never been able to stack my (you)s into a high horse for me to sit on.

>>2803646
t's not just these threads--it's the entire medium across the internet. Writers are never given much thought at all. Tumblr, the only other multimedia site I know of that has a large fanfic-loving userbase, has the exact same issue; writers are lucky to get any significant number of notes, be they reblogs or likes.
Before I stopped using it, I had around 250 followers as solely a fic writer; I had no other original content on my blog, would typically reblog sci-fi shit. When I posted a fic, I ran it by 4 or 5 friends first, then 1 or 2 close friends, then posted it. I was lucky to get over 50 likes, even with 250 followers, and even luckier to get half that in reblogs. More or less my exposure depended on a very very select few people watching me with high follower counts and having them reblog it. It got to the point where I felt disgusted with myself because I felt I was surreptiously using those followers, and I would post stories during times where I thought they were actually online and able to read and repost my stories. If one of them did, I could go as high as 800 notes, and that was with high praise coming from the people that read it.
Meanwhile a silly doodle of dubious quality gets thousands of notes.
The only place a fanfic is going to get any decent exposure is...well, nowhere, really.
Actuall,y I take that back; it's very dependent on the thread and group. I used to take part in the mass effect generals back in the day and there was literaly a fucking stable of content producers. There had to have been at least 10 different writefags and 5 different drawfags, and the writefags got just as much encouragement from the thread as the drawfags. It was really atypical now that I look back on it, but it was a magical general.

I'm actually the person that wrote the story in question. There's a chapter coming up that explains why he's acting that way, I just haven't gotten to it yet. I understand where you and the other anons are coming from on that point. As a writer, I do have a reason for what Bogo is doing beyond "hurr hurr hurr let's make Bogo a total dick". Things haven't been fully explained yet, but there's more story to come.
>Like you do not have to listen to every piece of feedback, some people are idiots or just hate your concept but as a writer you should also be open to the idea that maybe what you want to do with these characters is not going to work with the scenario you've crafted.
This is actually what I'm most worried about. I'm actually wondering if I did take it too far in the wrong direction and can't correct for it now. All I can do it try.
The critiques I got were tough but fair; I should appreciate them for that. But I'm also a creative human being and can't just go "Well that didn't sting a little -- or a lot." Forgive my reaction, but I'm only human.

>"go to a homeless shelter to avoid having a job."
Do you give terrible advice for a living or is it just a fucking hobby you actual fucking idiot.
>>2804020
Dude, just stop. Calm down. Go back to concept. I dunno why you reversed it from Nick's old GF being the psycho to Judy but whatever.
You need to build to moments. Judy's rejection is a moment, build up to it. Are you playing it comically? Tragically? Why would Nick twist the knife like that? He's a social guy, he knows how to talk to people. Why does Judy react the way she does?
Personally, I'd avoid the conversation altogether. Judy building up a head of paranoid steam makes way more sense if she sees Nick with a strange woman WITHOUT confronting him about it.

I get you, I feel like talking a lot more after it hits 11 or 12.

That seems to be the hot new zero-skill high-payout thing to do. There's another every year.

It's not a matter of self-esteem being attached to attention. The attention, while very intoxicating, isn't the reason why I want a response.
I want a response because I genuinely want to improve. I can't improve unless somebody tells me "hey this part was good, do more of that, but this part was shit, so fix it"
I can have an idea of what parts I felt were good or bad, but being that I will always be overly harsh on myself, it can skew my sense of what is good and what is bad.
>>2804026
Man hard truth of the internet: people hate reading.
I blame twitter.
Don't write for the (You)s. Its easier said than done and everyone loves that one insightful comment by a reader that really GETS it, but that's candy. You can't expect that or you'll be disappointed.
But to clarify, he didn't shout at anyone, he just ignored it or decided that making EVERYONE a scumbag was the rational response to "Why is Bogo being such a scumbag instead of giving Judy some time off with the department shrink like a sane boss would do?".
And again if that is the story he wants to write that's fine.

It's not horrible advice. If you're really so fucking depressed with your life that you want to die or are stagnant then you need to do something.
My belief is dying fast but true to yourself is better than slowing rotting away.
A Homeless shelter might be shitty but you'll learn something from it. You might learn that maybe you didn't have it so bad after all. You might learn that you actually like this kind of place. You might get a horrible disease from being bitten by some bum and have to reevaluate your life. You might learn how much the people around you are really willing to go. You might learn that you're far happier just wandering. You might learn that you didn't expect to get murder raped by homeless people and die.
That's all fine though. All of those lives are far more compelling than "Anonymous worked his shitty job from 6 - 5 for 40 years, retired and died"
Alot of discussion. I haven't seen judy in like 40 posts..

That she would strike proving once and for all that Nick was for her.
She knew where he lived and all the nooks and crannies that he went to all she would have to do is wait.
Nick swung the apartment door open with gusto the air was cool but not too cool and the sun was shining, plus he had a date planned for this after noon. In the third floor of suittopia a bunny clad in black spied on him through little binoculars.
Nick hpoed that he hadn't hurt his rabbit comrades feelings too much but there was no use crying over spilt milk. They would likely catch up where they left off on Monday. A greasy faced and short Cyote with a gratuitous t-shirt in latin bumped into him. He hurriedly apologized. The clumsy buffoon had accidentally distracted him from a drone with a camera flying ober head.

The problem is you lost me with the opening.
There's this concept called the buy in. As a storyteller you have to offer a concept that the reader buys into. "There is a man who can fly." "Animals are people and solve crimes." "Love can bloom on the battlefield.". Some readers will refuse outright. Some can be swayed, some will embrace it, and some can be lost.
What I am trying to suggest, here, is that you have invested so much in this narrative of "Nick penetrates the Hard Man culture of the ZPD." you do not realize you have flubbed your buy in. It feels unnatural, stilted, like the characters are cruel parodies of themselves. You need to rework it, introduce some characters who work better as vicious thugs or have Bogo's actions be more in line with his character-we see from the movie he's more likely to sideline a cop with joke duty than hit them.
And you shouldn't be worried about the possibility of going back. LOTS of writers have to go back and rework stuff. Zootopia's kind of famous for it, remember? They were so married to that dumb shock collar dystopia it took outside eyes for them to realize it was the wrong approach for the story they wanted to tell.
I'm not trying to hurt your feelings man, honest, I am just trying to get these idea through to you.

you only need high school in Canada, but if you want to specialize, then you'd have to get a degree, of course, and it helps to get selected if you have extra stuff. The real trick is that you kinda don't just get to be a cop. You have to be selected, but then that's true of anything isn't it? The clumsy buffoon had accidentally distracted him from a drone with a camera flying over head.
Nick entered his car and drove down the streets of his childhood. He had a special destination in mind. Judy followed in a Züber 200 yards behind nick. Investing in tracking beacons was a good choice after all. The shrew driving stared at the bunny nervously as she loaded her tranq gun.
As Nick pulled over in a back street Judy signaled the driver to halt the car. She payed tripple and crept out of the car. The Züber driver left without a word.
Nick scanned the alley. It was empty as can be. Allways like those two to be late.

I'm listening to you 100% and I absolutely appreciate the time you took to write what you have. It's possible, maybe probable, that I've already lost you as a reader. That's my loss and my fault.
I promise you that everything that's happening in the story is happening for a reason beyond me own want to "play dolls" with other people's intellectual property. There's a reason Bogo's acting the way he is; not all the cops in the ZPD are bad or hard-ass -- they all will have their own motives.
Reading what you've written, I might have already cut my characters (Disney's characters) off from that reason. I might have gone too strong too fast: mea culpa. I might have handled their actions and reactions wrong. Again, that's on me. But I have done everything in the story in a certain way for a certain reason to follow a certain storyline. That doesn't means your critique isn't 100% spot on with the other flaws in my story/
I'll give it two more chapters (which have already been outlined and filled in, but not fleshed out). If folks still feel as they do now, then I'll re-write. But I'd like to try to take the story the place it was going.

Hey /trash/, want to hear a joke?
>"Nick, will you please talk to me ?" judy said with a low voice, her eyes were bloodshot, her ears hang low as she tried to contain her tears.
>Nick didn't respond, he didn't know what to say, instead he got closer and bring her into a soft embrace, he placed his muzzle on her shoulder and with one hand he started caressed the back of judy's head.
>She took him by the shoulders, pushed him back and broke the hug. "I can't handle this, Nick. Not right now, just tell me what happened."
>Nick let go of her, his head hang low and with a dreary voice he said " Alright, Carrots, but you asked for it... Now, this is a story all about how..."
>judy just kicked him in the nuts and walked out.
i'm not sorry for anything.

Whaaat?
As Nick pulled over in a back street Judy signaled the driver to halt the car. She payed tripple and crept out of the car. The Züber driver left without a word.
Nick scanned the alley. It was empty as can be. Allways like those two to be late.
Watching Nick in the alley filled Judy with even more love for the smug fox. Nick pulled up his and answered a call.
"Yes, yes and do you think I care what he thinks. Sorry... yes yes you're probably right."
What was Nick talking about? And why did he look so bummed. Mabye the WHORE that he was dating relised that she would never be good enough for him. Her train of thought was interrupted by Finnick cresting the corner.
"Where's Gideon?"
"Said some shit bout Travis that, Travis this."
Finnick chuckled and leaned up to the graffiti covered wall.
"what are you waiting for Nick, kiss me."

If you mean why he killed himself, I don't know the details other than he was apparently cripplingly depressed and was hiding it. If you watch his youtube stuff, especially the stuff he did with TGWTG and Channel Awesome, he just seems like a funny as shit all around happy guy. He loved making people laugh.
And then one day out of the blue he just kills himself with his wife on the other side of the locked door.

I believe that no comedy or satire should be limited due to muh feelings. Comedy and satire should be completely unrestrained.

It's a simple challenge really.
Whenever you're frozen on ideas to draw with your bat, I would like you to grab a book or dictionary, go to the first word you find, and draw something related.
It helped me get really creative back in the day, and made me more loquacious.

How about, the whole nighthowlers thing didn't happen. It's actually a disease that spreads to prey after reaching maturity and causes Zootopia to cascade into anarchy and they are forced to quarantine it.
After that could go either Division or fucking Resident Evil Apocalypse on it but I think it would be cool to see everyone locked in the city as it goes mad. Bellwether happy at first till it starts to spread to the prey doctors that were trying to treat the Predator patients.
