To be fair on Professordoctorc, while he is pretty hit or miss with a lot of his pieces, and sometimes the faces can be creepy, you can't deny that when he gets one right, he knocks it out of the park. There's just some things he does that other fat artists don't, and the characters and situations he depicts do have a decent variety to them. It's not always the same character, in the same pose with the same body shape or anything like some fat artists are guilty of. Long story short, the criticisms are valid, but sometimes he does have glimpses of greatness. If he committed himself to working on improving some of his weaker areas, he could be one of the top fat artists out there. Plus, and it may be personal preference here, but there is something about his art style that I find suits fatness really well.

I think that it's time to address the elephant (or fat pony) in the room, and accept that our time is drawing to a close. Interest is obviously waning as most pony artists have jumped ship and moved onto other things like Zootopia, activity on the fatpony IRC has dried up, and the gap between each post ranges from 4 to 10 hours, so obviously we're petering out.
It was fine when it was just on /mlp/, but we're not allowed there anymore and on here, we're competing with at least 4 different fat fetish threads, and between all of those we are the slowest and least active. And the state of these threads have gotten progressively worse, from Multiposting to shit like >>2846603

Elixer of Enlargement
Zecora knew she should've expected this. The recipe was called 'Elixer of Enlargement', and that's just what happened. It wasn't a good look on her.
Her belly stuck out a good foot in front of her, looking like a half-inflated, striped beach ball. It sagged down just enough to preserve her modesty, her loincloth having torn off during the expansion. Her hips had done the deed, now almost as wide as her hut's doorway, dimpled with cottage cheese-like cellulite, and pink marks where her skin had stretched out.
Her breasts sagged down as well. They had grown from perky b-cups into a pair of sandbags, swinging pendulously when she moved. The lack of a bra to hold them still was irritating, but the remnants of her black babydoll tee lay in ruins on the floor. Rarity would be upset if she found out, but Zecora didn't think she'd ever tell anypony about this particular misadventure.
With a huff and a belch, she took a single step forward, the thunderous impact causing everything on the shelves to shake, then another, waddling slowly towards her potions bookshelf. A sheen of sweat appeared across her body from the exertion. The sheer weight of her body seemed to press down on her lungs, making breathing difficult.
"A reversal potion, gasp I must seek, else my future is most bleak!"
Outside, a draconequus with a camera glanced down at the potion book he had given to Zecora. With a smirk, he snapped his fingers, a spark bouncing down onto the pages and setting them alight. Then, taking one last photo of Zecora's increasingly desperate face as she searched for the missing book, he snapped his fingers, and was gone.
Gilda and Thunderlane
Gilda peeled off her sweat-soaked leather jacket, tossing the damp garment aside as she stepped into her apartment. Her flabby wings twitched against her back, happy to be free of their warm prison. After shutting the door and kicking off her combat boots, she flopped down on the loveseat and flipped on the TV. Her enormous body covered the seat, each asscheek wide enough for one cushion, belly hanging down and touching the floor. The XXXXXL workout shirt she wore was soaked in sweat from the day's exertions, but she didn't feel like taking it off just yet.
"Gilda? That you?" She heard the voice of her roommate, Thunderlane, coming from the kitchen. "There are some leftover pizzas, if you're still hungry after work."
"Is that even a question?" Gilda asked, looking over her shoulder to see the athletic stallion walking in, carrying a stack of several Rubio's Pizza boxes. The smell of re-heated pizza wafted through the room, mixing with Gilda's damp stench.
Thunderlane set down the pizzas on the coffee table and hopped onto the armrest of the loveseat, leaning against Gilda's brown belly. "So how was work?" He asked.
"Same old, same old," Gilda replied, stacking up three slices at once and gobbling them down. "Some drunk frat boys wouldn't stop flipping coins into my crack, so I gave them a good gassing and threw them out."
Thunderlane smiled at the sound of that. Those stallions wouldn't smell very nice for weeks to come as Gilda's stink clung to them. Her insides were like a gas factory, consuming cheap, greasy food for fuel and producing damp, smoggy farts as a result.
The pony and the griffon sat there for a long time, enjoying pizza and each other's company, until they both fell asleep. As far as they were concerned, it was a good way to end the day.
