If by Poppybowl you mean "Whoever Poppy will fall in love with" I would have to say Kit. Morbi essentially confirmed that she and Poppy are gonna smooch at some point and Kit's life is dedicated to making opossums be treated better. That's the pefect person to leave Lily with when Poppy dies.
I also think that the current chapter is mainly about setting up future plot elements (Twee, ambassadorship, Chicadino as PM, Skyhenge) as well as setting up Poppy and Kit having a romantic relationship. While they won't obviously kiss during this chapter Petunia's constant fantasies about the two of them together and Poppy looking like the one who is gonna help Kit vent about her issues, I believe this chapter is putting the thought of her an Poppy together in our minds chapters before it actually happens.
