Some stuff is really cute, and I like the way diapers look on them. I know that's hard to understand, but I just think they look good (pic related). As for getting hard, it's the fact that diapers are a humiliating (and obvious, due to the noise and thickness) thing to wear, and the one wearing them is forced into them. It's an extremely submissive role, since they're often times completely dependent on another, since they're gagged, restrained, and just reduced to such a pitiful state. It's what I like in BDSM, but with diapers.

Honestly, for me it's more a matter of comfort than it is fetish. Of course diapers turn me on and they definitely enhance sexual interactions but that's certainly not the primary reason I wear them. As others have said, it's difficult to explain, but imagine a sense of overwhelming calmness, being able to forget about the stresses in everyday life.
