In all honesty though, they really should at least look into re-releasing Guts because it would still sell like hotcakes now. I'm more worried that GSC might have hopped off the Berserk bandwagon and moved on since the movies ended, and that they expect to end the Berserk figma line with the GodHand instead of announcing more. If we don't get anything new this WF there's always the Winter WF in February next year after the anime ends.
I'd love to see a new Guts with his new armor, and possibly Schierke too, if it isn't too much to ask.

As someone who accidentally got a bootleg Link just yesterday, I can tell you they're just way shit compared to their authentic counterparts. The paint is sloppy and dull and the joints are all really fucking loose and prone to slipping out. Pegs are either too small or too big to fit in their holes, and I think the torso was molded different. There's also weird strands of plastic hanging off him, so I think even the molding process was fucked up.
And since figmas and Japanese toys in general tend to be somewhat expensive collector's items, you waste a fair bit of money on an item that neither looks good, nor is it fun to pose or play with.

Well like everyone else said they are not as high quality in the paints and joints.
The only 3 figmas i own are bootlegs (poorfag Australian here) but i am actually really happy with them, the most common thing people say is the paint wont be great but on my three i would rate the paint a solid 8/10, no real issues but one was a slightly lighter colour than it should have been. And as for joint problems, on one of my figures one of the legs pops off kind of easy but i should be able to fix that anyway and i haven't had an other problems yet. Though i think i may have gotten lucky so far with my bootlegs i have bought, so YMMV.
The reason i bought bootlegs is Because the price to get 1 of the figmas i wanted if i were to buy the real one would be around $85 AUD whereas i bought all 3 bootlegs for for around $16-17 AUD each , so nearly 1/5th of the price and there is absolutely no chance i would enjoy the real one 5 times as much so for me it was an easy decision to buy the bootlegs, you may not be the same but i thought i'd share my experience.

I had him, and for years I struggled with whether I liked it or wanted to sell it. it looks great in the box but when you open it you're hit with buyer's remorse straight away. The way the whole figure is sculpted is just questionable, plus it leans more towards the 4th film as inspiration. Fucking no one wants an old Indiana Jones. In the end I sold him, because well he just wasn't Indy to me.

I actually thought the same thing with Fate's Sonic Form and I,m not too fond of the design. All I wanted was the Scythe Form of Bardiche in fact I bought the Sonic Form first and it took me 4 years to get myself a Lightning Form. Also got the Blaze Form before the Lightning Form. It's a minor gripe but has anyone else noticed the new figma boxes tend to arrive with big long creases down the side that the old style laminated packaging never used to get? It's the type of damage you get when dealing with an empty box so it definitely happened at the factory either during folding or insertion of the figure.
