It's fairly funny and it's entertaining, if that's shit humor then I like it.

Offense is taken, not given. It's your job to feel offended, not his
>>
>>5776401
By being offensive. Humor is subjective yes. But there are things like a kids knock knock joke to where not everyone will laugh because some won't find it funny while jokes using racism will have those that will not laugh because it's offense to them or someone they know. It's trying to be offensive for a laugh.
>>
>>5776404
So now you are saying you do find it offensive? All you are doing by complaining is ensuring we get more jew Swindle. Maybe someone will mold him a big fat nose since it triggers you so much.

>>

>>
>>5776428
Is he the same guy that writes unfunny text all over his pics or to we have two resident weirdos?
>>
>>5776426
Because his character is portrayed as greedy and unscrupulous. Exactly like the stereotypical Jew. So what he does is project this stupid stereotype onto a fictional character, to show how cartoonish and childish said stereotype is.

>>5776428
The sex jokes are just stupid dumb humor. Nothing intellectual. The racist jokes are either poking fun at current events (ie the black lives matter jokes and the police brutality jokes) or at stereotypes.

Of course in the end it's up to him to dictate the true meaning of his humor
>>
>>5776428
Are you suggesting that someone on a board populated by grown men who still collect toys might be, in some way, developmentally stunted?

Shocking.
>>
>>5776431
I've also responded to those same posts in other posts. Why would I go at it again in a different way? That's pointless.

>>5776436
And the sex jokes are beyond unfunny past early teen ages.

And sure. That's fine to poke fun at people who had an issue with someone dying. You can't deny there are race murders still happening and to poke fun at those trying to voice out against it is completely humorous. Just as funny as Ferguson prime.
>>
>>5776449
At this point you're just finding a reason to be offended. I've already reasoned it to you in a considerably less offensive stance but you consistently retort with your same old viewpoint that it HAS to be offensive, because I say so. God forbid someone poke fun at touchy ground.

I hope you find peace one day anon.

Yeah. Getting triggered over bad attempts at humor being called out is a new one.
>>
>>5776468
>Where's the aggression?
The statement of "keep trying" comes off as very provocative and as an attack on the other party's argument without explaining why said party's argument is bad or false. Furthermore you've consistently forced your opinion that sex jokes or racist jokes have to be related to being underaged, something which is a): not true, b): no better than actual legitimate racism or sexism, and c): extremely provocative.

Yeah. Along with bits on the inside of the foot pieces. But mainly there.

It looks like the connector on that piece was designed wrong entirely. there's an extra set of eyelets on each side, which both have groves in them so the pegs on the connector/swing arm could slide in, but the bit in the middle where the swing arm actually pegs in doesn't have shit, and it just seems too small of a space, so it buckles outwards.

The legs also don't sit level with the torso when they're collapsed up. There's like a 5 degree angle either side of parallel, which means the vehicle mode and leg mode are always buckled in the middle in one direction or another.

They have blind bags you can get at most toy retailers for like $2-3. Those might have aliens in them however, but you can probably find the codes online somewhere. They also have fire team packs of four for like $15(?) that come with a turret or tower or something. They have head, shoulder, elbow, wrist, waist, and knee articulation. And if you want human faces you can get Call of Duty figs and upcoming Star Trek figs.
>>
>>5776622
The extra pair of eyelets on the sides are for you to peg Swindle's pistol in so he can have a shoulder gun. A nice feature but if I could drop it in leau of having a non-warped roof I probably would.

And yeah, mine has the exact same issue to. Seems like a problem with the mold in general

I need a new Swindle. I had never considered the clear plastic problem since it's not a been a huge deal for me but my Animated Swindle is packed away for a few years now and i'm trying to get into Combiner Wars anyway.

I love the looks of CW Swindle and Hound. I don't normally buy two of the same mold but there's enough variation and enough love on my part for the characters to justify it.

I do love when a mold is used twice with new heads or new parts. It's good to see them putting in more effort instead of just repainting stuff.

Is it weird that I didn't care for Fred Williard's Swindle in Animated.

Like he performed him well but his voice sounds maybe too honest and likeable for the character.

he needed to sound more slimy IMO. His G1 voice sounded slimy but was kind of annoying and in FOC Steve Blum was just Steve Blum.

I wish Phil Hartman were still alive, he would have been perfect IMO.

So black tracks-sorry "loud pedal" came today, I'm excited, thrilled, and a little dissapointed.

I got a shit set up so I won't go over the whole thing but as expected, the toy had some scuff marks, right on the bonnet which was dissapointing but I was prepared thanks to my time with gunpla (pre-injected gloss is a bitch), not that I'll be fixing it, the grey plastic is kinda swirly, not my kinda thing but its better than what I expected (think mp11 starscream grey).

One nice touch photos could never do justice is the mouthplate, its actually painted in a different grey to the body and stands out, you can tell because there is...some paint wear on it already, you can *just* see it here.

He truly was worth the money though, and I'm glad the eyes aren't as hard to see as what they are on film (I always thought they kinda got lost in the helmet design but they look fine in hand).

And yes, I do have tracks and rage rage, the gloss is very high, though I'm suspecting unlike tracks the body isn't *actually* painted, the paint thickness suggest to me it could just be drenched in lacquer gloss paint as it reminds me of some of my earlier models.

Not that I'm going to test that, TLDR he's fucking sexy despite QC flaws.

Fun fact, he was double tapped and still had scuffs, those guys at vietnam know their stuff

I don't have him, so that works for me, plus scale+anime accurate face.

Last I checked takara never changed the face sculpt on that T30 version which was odd, I prefer the mouthplate, but he'll stand out more as unique this way.

Not only would he look just too odd with a bunch of smaller dudes but he'd lack compatibility, and...cost is another factor, well for me getting takara's new one would work out better

Swindle-anon here.
My onslaught had absurdly tight joints in the legs too, to the point I was a bit worried that with all the metallic swirl in the thigh plastic is a potential breaking point somewhere in the future. I'm not complaining about that, as the tightness translates to really secure legs in the combined mode. Swings & Roundabouts.

I also had a few issues with blast-off's tolerances. His neck peg just falls right out of place, and his feet wouldn't sit flat because the connector pegs were too fat; which results in the legs not tabbing together at all. in addition to that, it also really irked me how tight the nosecone assembly is and the likelihood of all that delightful metallic purple to just rub off through general wear and tear. I spent most of my evening last night with a craft knife and sand paper sorting his shit out. It really worries me just how loose that neck joint is on the very first print run of the mold.

Brawl was fine, and his soft ratchet on the waist clicks into place snugly and securly, but the mold itself is still shit. Fuck those shoulders, fuck the entire stumpy arm assemblies in general.

Vortex was the diamond of the set for me, and even he wasn't problem free. One of his rotors is super loose, but that should be fixable with a blob of superglue in the right spot and a bulldog clip clamping overnight.

I'm just super fucking disappointed with the entire set and having to fix something on pretty much every single figure. It's not what I expect when I open a box of premium painted takara goodness. I'd been looking forward to it for months, and it's the first time I've ever owned a complete bruticus. I never got Vortex or Brawl as a kid, so it scratched a special nostalgia itch for me, and the QC issues really robbed the joy of it for me.
>>
>>5777051

Sounds like a QC fuckfest. Nothing wrong with my Hasbro versions except Brawl's arms being a little loose (futureshine could fix) and the well known heli mold peghole stress shit that may or may not break.

>>

Why yes, the box specifically.

To further explain "doubled taped" is a term used on a box of a collectable, usually they use one bit of tape.

When you see 2 over lap each other its double taped, basically a sign the item has been opened (usually at the factory or in some cases at the shop like bbts) and no longer collectors grade.

I read about it when I was thinking about importing mp-05 megatron (that was dumb) and bbts were forced to open it to insert an orange safety plug, the listing mentioned being doubled taped.

Do you follow, I don't mind explaining, nothing else better to do

>>
>>5777138

>>
>>5777141
A combiner's stats are compared to other combiners. Just like cityformers would be compared to each other. I doubt anyone is dumb enough to think Metro's 10s are the same as Optimus's 10s.
>>
>>5777145

I'd rather they just expand the scale and try to define things within it. Lets say Optimus and Megatron dings in at a 10 Str-Good for his size catagory, a strong "regular bot". Grimlock would ding in at say, 12 or so. He's a big, strong dude who is known for wrecking faces pretty easily if he gets his mitts on you.

Then you'd get combiners who would sit around 20 Str or so, and then move on to Metroplex, who probably is in the 30's, and then you hit shit like FortMax, who probably has some retarded number like 50 or something.

And for shits and giggles you toss in Unicron and all his stats are just infinity symbols or some shit.

Did they?
I'm trying to find some pictures of it from the show (because it's OBVIOUSLY not the toy), and I can't seem to find any, but from what I remember, it's actually pretty close
>>
>>5777226
I had his toy as a kid. I always thought it was a bit generic but now that the new ones out I feel compelled to buy him out of pure nostalgia.

Is that weird?

The old Beast Machines basic Tankor was pretty much 100% accurate aside from being too small.

It looked like BM Tank Drone's alt mode. My main problem with the Generations alt mode is that the head is so deepset that he can't see anything. It looks really bad to me.

It's not a problem at all on the tank drone, and the tank drone's robot mode is just fine except for being a basic class figure instead of a deluxe or voyager.

I think TakaraTomy/Hasbro nailed it with direction TR is going. They are focusing more on the micromaster aspect than the headmaster gimmick. Old Hardhead was JUST a headmaster, but TR Hardhead is a headmaster AND a 2-man tank for your Titanmaster.

I wasn't planing to buy Powermaster Optimus because I already have Ultra Magnus, but after seeing all the small pegs for the Titanmaster and how it seems to be a decent micromaster base/transport, I just know i'll grab it on impulse when it's on discount.
>>
>>5777291
Combiner Wars was a pleasant surprise but Titans Return is really winning me over with this stuff.

I usually hate gimmicks but this looks fun as fuck.

I'm getting Powermaster Optimus for pure nostalgia too though. My uncle bought the original for me from Walmart when I was little. It was the second Optimus I ever had aside from the original one so it holds a special place for me.

I really like Galvatron. Despite all the memes with the mask and fore arms, he looks really nice, nails the iconic Galvatron cannon mode, nails the iconic Megatron "it's definitely a jet guys just play along" mode, and just overall feels really good in the hands.
>>

Good lord!
And here I thought guys like Hardhead would be bigger.
